(Shippuden) Her growth is the most amazing thing you can watch out for in Narutoverse. As Tsunade's successor, she can heal like crazy, high evasion, intelligent and learned all books in the medical library so great in toxic too. She's somewhat immune(?) to genjutsu. 3 YEARS, 3 years of cultivating that fcking seal on her forehead so she was forced to used half or even less of her chakra from the whole shippuden era not until she finished filling up the seal. Even sasuke admitted that Sakura is better at taijutsu than him. She's still in love with a man that betrayed and hurt her and her friends. It's not like there was even given any reason why she felt so strongly about him and fell in love with him other than his looks and popularity. Alot of fans root for Naruto as an underdog as well and Sakura used him to get Sasuke back in their opinion. The tsundere thing isn't helping her either. Tbh I didn’t think it was that deep and I understood from the getgo that the anime was always going to be about team 7’s friendship... so I liked all of them. She was such a bitch to Naruto at the start and so condescending it got on my nerves. Like i watched it a long time ago, but first impressions are important and she was just a whiny, self absorbed brat. Her fans say she improved "so muuuch" but all I remember is her STILL chasing sasukes emo ass even after he tried to kill her. Like...GIRL have some self respect! For all that power the author threw at her, she was still meek when it mattered most. Now knowing that she ended married to a guy who visits her once every century...I just feel bad for her but that doesn't equal to liking her. Shounen is a broad scope and there a lot of female character who are popular and well written even without fanservice. Hence why Hinata is popular with International male fans while in Japan Sakura is more popular, I guess they don’t like strong anime female characters here in the West? They constantly bash Sakura for being useless but forget she’s a medical ninja so she can’t just jump into a fight like Hinata did. I always wondered why characters like Hinata was so overrated while female characters like Ino, Temari, Tenten and Sakura are underrated or hated in the fandom. SAKURA IS DA BOMB! She literally just gave up on her clan and being a ninja (I get that she gave up on being a ninja I mean the war traumtized her) but like? But i do hate when she cries to naruto but always shit on him when sasuke is around sksksk When she was a kid she was a whiny fuckin brat, dealing with a kid who had his whole clan massacred and another who was treated as a social pariah his whole life, yet she had the gall to always degrade Naruto and act like her problems were the biggest. Then aurhor decided "damn how can Team 7 be some epic shit if 1/3 of it stays useless" so she got a bunch of power ups and was touted around as the "stRONGest" but even then she always needed ppl like Naruto to save her ass, and even then she was half assed in her so called "friendship" with Naruto and always ran back to sasuke like he was her god and not an abusive asshole. In my eyes, she is a sad excuse for a strong female character and her development is meh. Pierrot just hates Sakura and made her insufferable on the anime, she wasn’t as immature, and annoying with Naruto in the manga. As everyone has said, Kishimoto doesn’t know how to write female characters. But Sakura’s pretty cool, like I’ve said before, I think only her and Rock Lee are the actual characters that represent the underdog story decently, without stupid power upgrades to keep a storyline lol. Also people forget Sasuke tried to kill everyone, including Naruto and Kakashi but somehow people only blame Sakura for ‘chasing’ after Sasuke. Anyways, go Team 7!
