Do the typical frat/high school parties really exist? Have you ever been to one?

There are no fraternities in my country, lol. And people don´t sleep on Campus or anything like that...

In unis ya but I'm so glad my friends are more into clubbing and raves and stuff, hs parties are boring it's just 4 people sitting around a bong eating takis :/

Yup. They don't just happen with frats and sororities but also with large groups of friends in college. It's fun once in awhile.

Yeah, they exist. I don't go to them, but I've heard stories. My friend's boyfriend is in a frat and they always have parties like those.

During high school, definitely there was literally one every week, as for uni idk, most people go out drinking instead...

The rest of the world don't really follow i think, we don't have those here

 

But we do have a "welcoming party" kinda thing for the newcomers in my university. Every or other Friday there will be a graduation course throwing a party to welcome their freshmen, but all of the university is allowed in.

Imagine a whole semester of parties. lol

Fraternities here have these kind of wild parties but unfortunately you have to be in the frat most of the time to attend them. Occassionally others can come too, but only a few times in the year.

I know students at my school did some crazy parties but I never got invited to them

 

people's first impressions of me in high school were often like... I'm shy and wouldn't be fun at a party lol even though I would go hard with my close friends

 

it wasn't until I was 18 that I started getting invited to parties. but those were with 20-somethings. honestly probably a whole lot better than high school shenanigans

 

now I am back to not getting invited to anything. sad lol. but I should probably focus on school anyway.
