T-money announces collab with BTS to be announced for February 28th.

T-money is a multipurpose cash card mainly used for transportation in Seoul...

—and the card usually release limited designs in partnership with other brands and idol groups/singer.

I'm not sure what osyter card is but T-money is like a transportation card. You can load your wons in t-money and you can use it for any public transportations like subway, bus and taxi etc (with some exception like ktx etc). It can be used to buy things at convenient stores too if I'm not mistaken. But I only use it for my subways and transportation when I was in Seoul.

They had a limited edition collab during the Spring Day era iirc

I remember some intl ARMY buying them as collectibles even though they didn’t live in SK to use them

Each city in the US has their own transportation card. For example, the T-Money equivalent in New York City is the Metrocard.
