There are way too many kpop groups...

Ik people have already pointed out the oversaturation in kpop but still there are just so many new groups debuting the ones that are confirmed this year alone and all the pre-debut projects. It's baffling. Especially boygroups like how do they find so many twinks

ughh welcome?

i actually don't mind considering for a good solid 4 years we had maybe 1-2 boy and girl big name idol groups debut for the entire year, vs the the golden era of 6-10.

certainly keeps my enthusiasm for the genre going

Millions of young boys out there with a dream of becoming an idol, this is South Korea's industry perhaps.

Honestly, I hardly watch music shows, but last time when I CLC finally won! There were a bunch of twinks behind them, I was like who are these new groups...

I agree. It feels like it's at an all time high these days. There aren't enough fans for all the groups these companies keep pumping out. You realize that the only groups that debut after 2015 who got a smidgen of popularity are Blackpink (expected) and Wanna One (cause of the show). So many groups coming out and less and less people checking for them.
