Hyundai were not expecting Palisade to sell past 25K domestically. The demand is too high.

This is incredible, considering Hyundai cars are quite bad

What makes them bad? They are pretty reliable from my understanding, and one of the largest manufacturers (like 4th or 5th or something like that I think.)

Even if my faves endorsed Hyundai or KIA, I still wouldn't buy a Korean car when Japanese ones exist with better reliability lol

Japanese cars obv better but come with a price. In the uk the Kia and Hyundai are seen as reliable cars without the price of overpriced Japanese’s ones. Not every one can afford Japanese

ikr lg flopped so hard. Funny thing is that among their endorsements LG was the one who spent a lot. They put the ads in us commercial, instagram, yt ads etc. basically the ads were everywhere.

BTS’ brand power is really powerful but nothing beats Apple and Disney’s brand power, nothing.

maybe part of the problem was that BTS obv don’t even use LG

but we were told that we are delulu if we think the high demand is due to BTS since these are cars and armchairs can't afford it

so we believe them or believe Hyundai? 1f9d0.png

The funniest thing I've read about this though is that BTS has nothing to do with the sudden increase of sales. Like, no correlation at all. I can't imagine their arms bending for that reach.

This is not the exact article i read in the past, but i remember i read something like the cars that weren't safe and Hyundai Accent was the first one. Other Hyundai's were behind it on the list..

I did my research because i bought my first car last year and i wanted to be sure what i was buying

I actually have to agree with @Valentinna in some ways. I once owned a Hyndai Elantra. I like the car, but within the second year of my purchase, the car's clock started to malfunction. Five years into the purchase, the mirror on the weather visor fell off. Then there were issue with pumping gasoline into the gas tank (because the gas tank kept on disabling the automatic pump to trigger that it was full when the gas tank wasn't even near full at all...and apparently, I wasn't the only one who had that issue)....it was recalled multiple times for airbag issues...and the door handle broke within the first seven years.

I love the car because it was my first car, but I dreaded going to the gas station because I would literally stand there for five minutes to ten minutes trying to pump ten gallons of gasoline into my near empty tank because pumping gas was such a hassle.

Interesting, I’ve only seen positive things about Hyundai’s safety recently, it’s really interesting to me the different things that can be claimed depending on the study or source. Never owned a Hyundai, never really interested in one tbh. Thanks!

Dang that sucks. I’ve only had Japanese (Mazda and Nissan) and American (Pontiac) and have good luck with all of them. Hyunai marketing always makes them seem so reliable, but that’s marketing for you!

Everything bts touches sells ....

Except lg phones kekeke

I don't think anyone can sell LG phones at this point tbh

(although i do own one myself but i did so even before BTS got the endorsement. They aren't bad people! Since they don't sell either the price is always really great a couple of months after release lmao)
