For me, definitely these three: Seo Taiji and Boys, Big Bang, and BTS. You have to put Seo Taiji and Boys because they are literally the inception of Kpop groups.

where are infinite? if 2AM and BEAST are there then INFINITE should be there as well. you still people mentioning them on pann even if it's full of teens who only know 3rd gen bgs...

they didn't but they're still considered a top group. there even were articles about why they never won one. I mean it's obvious that INFINITE are bigger than 2AM.. 

edit: I see that there is the hashtag 'impact' well INFINITE's impact was bigger than some groups metionned here. they were the creators of the 'knife-like' choreos that everyone is doing now (even the term was 1st made to describe INFINITE's choreos) their synchronization made an impact in the whole country.

this only 1 post though.. and I'm talking about other pann articles. you can just see the latest translated ones, like the ones talking about the 'best intros' or best male voices or even the ones talking about idols' pretty names, all these articles mentionned INFINITE or a member at least once. I don't think people would still remember them if they weren't a top group. 2AM, BEAST or 2PM weren't mentioned either on that top5 pann post and they are hardly mentioned on other pann posts unlike INFINITE.

Beast are obviously bigger than Infinite. Beast had daesangs plus 10+ hit songs that made to annual gaon chart. They both have similar album sales (fandom size), but Beast has far more impact with general public.
