So Apple wins at the end of the day?

Idk why ppl say iPhone > android when there is only one iPhone and 499492 android phones form different companies that have different hardware that works differently. Do you think iPhone is better than Android where you compared a state of art android phone with the iPhone or did you just compare any old phone?

Apple own their OS and their hardware. While discussing phones say WHICH android phone is better than or lesser than the iPhone or the statement is meaningless.

iPhone is aesthetically better. Reliable. Overpriced. but cute

Maybe bc I’m used to it but I like the GOogle ecosystem way more.. like how UR google account is integrated seamlessly into all that u do on an android. Makes for better backing up of data etc

I hated the idea of no headphone jack but honestly it hasn’t affected me

And I feel like more phone company’s are gonna jump on this train (ie the Pixel) so w/e

And PC over Mac

Bless iOs and macOs, they last so long without lagging

This is true.

I am using a Samsung S9+ right now and it's only been close to a year but it has already started glitching and hang slightly when I reload a chrome tab after some time.

I will definitely be back to Apple again, IF the prices doesn't go even higher than the current prices.

I use the iPhone X, I bought it in Christmas 2018 so around a year as well.

I have the max number of tabs open in Safari which is 500 and it still works fine. I have always had around that many open since I bought it i'm a mess I truly don't know how my phone keeps up lol. I also never close the apps but it doesn't lag.

that's too bad

I use it to work and to use a lot of design programs and it works sooo well, it's 4 years old and runs like the first day (only the fan sound is more noticeable)

I used to have one for like 3 months and it was pretty good but then I spilled orange juice on it rip

headphone jack is deal breaker for me so i'm staying with android

Heard they’re removing the jacks on the brand new Samsung tablets. But then no one ever really buys them anymore.

*shrugs* I can use google stuff in iPhone. No big deal. I couldn’t careless about airdrop and all that since those things aren’t as secure as you think.

Lol I’m the same as you. I don’t like closing my apps but my safari has about 50 tabs or so. And they don’t lag. I’ve had my phone for about a year and a half already.

Yeah you go and pay premium price because of brand name but get the same in the end anyways.

And yet Samsung still lags.

That is crazy

I will never open that many tabs but I like to have the option of not returning to a page that hanged since I last read it.

Apple never hanged on me once during the 4 years I was using them prior to jumping to Android for two phones just to check them out since they were touted as the "better and cheaper alternative". They weren't better for my user experience so far. :(

This whole discussion strays from the actual video content but Ill put my two cents in.

As someone mentioned, its a better comparison to pit an iPhone to a specific Android high end phone. Comparing an iPhone to a $100 Android is going to be a very terrible comparison. That being said, I've seen both sides have their complaints. Some people have never had issues on a high end Android phone, others have, same for iPhone. I really just think it depends on how you use your phone much like a car.

There's also blind brand loyalty. I legit had a friend who only bought iPhone's and had lags and glitches worse than my phone at the time, but to him the iPhone still had better performance despite my phone never having lag issues or hiccups of any kind when he used it for watching stuff (I always have big phone's with big screens). I could easily tell those issues when using his phone, but well, some people just refuse to believe otherwise when they are so used to something and think its the best because they paid $1000 for it. If it's that expensive it must be flaw free right?

This friend of mine no longer buys iPhones btw just as an FYI

Let's also not forget Apple purposely slows down their phone's after a year to force you into buying a new one. Mac's also have terrible lifespans filled with costly repairs. There are many many articles and videos you can find on these issues and you can make your own judgment on them. Despite all this people still cling to their Apple devices. I personally will never understand it, I haven't given my money to Apple since the iPhone 6, I could smell the greed and lack of innovation from that point on, but people are free to make terrible choices I guess.

My recommendation to anyone buying an Android phone, don't buy a Samsung or an LG. Buy a OnePlus or a Pixel. They have stock Android, no bloat, no useless skins on top of the Android operating system, you will get buttery smooth performance and the latest updates. I think this is the biggest problem with Android phones is that there are so many manufacturers that can install it on their phones that there is a lack of quality control and updates. This is an issue and I as an Android user can accept that, but like I said, buy a OnePlus or a Pixel and you'll be gucci.
