So this is a house of a now retired bishop in my country

This mansion is worth 1,000,000 euros (this is a second-world country so it’s extremely rare to have a house this expensive) . I think he’s actually moving out but he used to live here so the point is still here .

 

As you can guess, churches don’t pay taxes around here...

Where I'm from the higher up in churches tend to seal money from the church and SOME PRIESTS DO OTHER WORK THEN PREACHING AT CHURCHES.

The church people in my country too. Corrupt, abusive to other religions, giving people addictive drugs as fake medicine, cutting into protected forests, rape, etc.

TBH even the godmen of the other religions too are creeps. One Sikh-associated Baba has a palace with security that'll make the White House and Buckingham both cry in shame.

Well here you need to call the priest for example funerals and every family here has a special holiday named Slava (every family choses one for them) and they earn aaa tooon of money there.

 

Also, people in the villages build their houses for free, it’s the tradition. You just get some kind of “thank you†document
