What about if she doesn't want to be an idol? maybe an actress or retire the industry? (last option is wrong cause she is still in DSP so maybe she want to be famous in other way...)

I'll support her no matter what but I hope we see some from her soon... maybe an SNS account or some news...  I check her sister's instagram but no news hahaha

I'm really sad about somin nowadays. Whenever I see april new material, I wonder how somin would have sang a certain part or how she would have looked in the mv. In a way I can't get behind the girls in April anymore.

 

I was hoping that somin would be in project 101 along with chaekyung and shiyoon but she wasn't. I hope chaekyung and shiyoon do get into the project group as mnet would be sure to promote them very well....

 

I hope somin is doing well and having a very merry christmas.....

Who? Somin created an sns account? That gives me hope that she will redebut. That made me happy that there are at least news of her.

 

She already had one but it was inactive since rumours about APRIL's debut came out. So if she has re-opened it maybe it means she won't debut again soon~

Somin seems to be re-emerging with this new photo and this rumor, which seems legit to me:

My speculation from the start might have been right: Soon after debuting April, DSP realised the old Kara members probably wouldn't renew their contracts and started thinking up possible solutions for Youngji. The plan they decided upon involved Somin (who they felt didn't really match April's concept anyway) and so they asked her to leave April first to re-debut with Youngji later. 

 

The above is strictly my speculation. We still have to wait for an official announcement re Kara's fate, and anything could happen. 

 

But at least there's something to look forward to! 

 

And we can add the spotlight Chaekyung and Shiyoon may get with Produce 101 (I don't know the name of the show, sorry hahaha) so we have a new girband hahahaha

Yep, me too! I want to her to know abou how much people love her~ but I don't think her SNS private accound would be the best way for it hahahhaa ok we show support but she wouldn't be confortable...It may imply she change her account and we all lose those beautiful photos hahaha

True :( even though I don't know her sns provate account but it is for this reason I wouldn't contact her.

 

I wouldn't want to pass off as a stalker but I really support her. And i wamma be friends in the event she doesn't want to be a idol anymore.

 

It goddamn hurts being unable to see her on a public platform :(

 

Maybe we could get a post on her to go viral or something haha create a somin fanclub. I know some fanclub presidents know the idols well or something.

oh and by the way, at wiki, somin's name was already deleted from dsp solo artist list

 

Somin's hasn't deleted her IG account but know she makes it private so no photos...

 

Rumours are just rumours till confirmation. DSP said no so we only have that stament at the moment.

You can't believe any wiki... what do they know about the situation (it may be true or not haha)

 

It could make sense BABYKARA members (in DSP) to debut together... so it could explain why Shiyoon and Chaekyung are in produce 101. Or maybe DSP doesn't want them and want to promote them so other agency could use their popularity from both survivals and DSP won't be the bad one hahahaha

but there's no statement about Somin leave DSP until now....if she does, then there will a news about it (even just one or two, like Yuji, that we know she under other agency now), but i hope she's not leave yet. if she does, i hope she will join YG or JYP.

 

let's wait until DSP make a statement about Kara and Youngji and about Somin's future as DSP's artist

 

There is no need to do an statement of a trainee leaving. Whatever if she is Somin or not. She is now a trainee again (or not anymore). There would be one if knetz start to talk about her, she was around any company etc etc etc But maybe she already left and no one knows hahaha

 

It's sad but it is like this.

We didn't know Sojin had left DSP till her suicide came out. It was a month after leaving if I'm not wrong remembering the news.

Trainees aren't "nothing", so they don't deserve an statement.

 

Don't get me wrong please. English isn't my first language.

I think she is still training @ DSP...

 

 

It's just a wall and a black "sofa" but her clothes, even the color of the walls.

I know it could be anything but this could be true too hahaha

 

(He is a DSP trainee, the on from Choco Chip Cookie MV, Matthew. Hope he debuts soon too! he's awesome and his mixtapes/covers from soundcloud are cool!)

 

EDIT:

as I was talking to a friend, without KARA, DSP needs a mature group too. Rainbow are there but unfortunately, not their deserved fame/status. So there is a change for Baby KARA members to be that group after produce 101 rise  Chaekyung and Shiyoon's popularity a bit more... they fit into mamma mia and cupid concepts perfectly.

It could mean a lot of things, from really good to really bad, but in some cases this happens just before an artist debuts. 

 

She created one a few days ago. She was followed by some fans so she decided to keep it privated. Since then, she has upload more pictures, so...

I don't think she want to be idol anymore. I'd talked about this with a friend and we think this.

 

She has opened another SNS account. So we can count:

1. Kakao Talk

2. Kakao Story (created today 160208)

3. Instagram (private/closed)

But why do you think that she doesn't want to be an idol anymore, based on her opening a Kakao Story account? 

 

If that's true though, i'd just be so sad like.... i can't even....     

 

It could be a hint too but if it's true she wasn't confortable in APRIL... she was also the it girl in it (maybe sharing spotlight with Naeun). Maybe she didn't like the concept, but maybe she didn't enjoyed that lifestyle once she got it...

Maybe.... But i really doubt it though, because we know she has debuted once before in Puretty, they had some promotions and appeared on some shows, and she competed in Kara Project which put her in front of the camera again, and she was still determined enough to join April. It doesn't look like she would be surprised by any kind of responsibility or lifestyle being an idol. 

 

She's worked so hard for so long, and she's so talented, it would be such a waste to quit now. I hope she feels the same way!
