but it still kinda random/rare for DSP to "lend" their trainee to other company... (not even to their current artist)

esp to YG... since it's an Epik High song.. so they are doing hip hop/rap concept...

and Somin... from what i see in KARA project, she's not really into hip hop style..? but more to ballads and RnB?

well, maybe she'll show us something new this time? i hope so....

anyway, i'm happy for her... but i just find all of this a bit random....

that means, she's still a trainee in DSP '

so this could really be a random collaboration with Epik High.

 

who knows DSP has step up their game in promoting their trainees/artist.

like Youngji who featured in VIXX MV.

Sojin cameo in a sitcom with Rainbow Hyunyoung.

and now Somin's turn to feature in Epik High new MV.

The article says she caught viewers' eyes.

They (people who didn't know her) all thought she was Song Mino's sister.

But DSP has already spoken saying She is their (DSP's) trainee and she just appears in the MV because the good relationship between companies

everyone seems to think that Somin is too good for DSP.

Please don't have cosmetic surgery, you don't need any (or am I too late?).

 

well, this is just my theory.

 

KARA only renew their contract with DSP for 2 years.

so DSP need a new back up group if one day KARA decided to leave.

and DSP saw the potential in Somin. this girl can sing, dance, has the visual and can also the lead the group.

she's literally all-in-one package.

as a KARA fan myself, i would say, it would be a waste if Somin was added to the group.

in KARA, we already have a good & reliable leader (Gyuri), top visual (Hara), and main vocalist (Seungyeon).

if she was in KARA, she'll either overshadow the old members (i'm sure Kamilia won't like it) or she won't be able to show much of her talents (as not to overshadow the original members which what i think is the same happening to Youngji)

so, in DSP POV, they better have Somin in a new group since she already has a large number of followers which will secure a fanbase for her new group later.

i hope i make sense lol

 

btw, looking at Epik High's Born Hater MV, i don't think she did anything to her face.

she still looks the same during KARA project days

i also hope she won't change anything.. she's already perfect to me
