Why some women look away when they find a men attractive?

It may be the case for men too, but I never noticed because I'm a man and I mainly attract women. Plus I think men tends to stare.

Edit : Sorry I forgot to mention an important detail in the context : looking away while walking (in the street or at school), why some women purposely look away at the meeting point instead of looking straight in their direction?

I really don't know why I do it.. Prob I feel intimidated. Don't know why. Also, guys tend to be persistent when they think a girl likes them and I try to not send too many signals because most of the time I want nothing with them and I don't want them thinking something else

women look for the muscles not their personalities.

In my case, I either feel shy or I just don't want the guy to think that I'm a creep staring at him.

im shy shy shy

just dont want the guy to think that women will be easy to get

Same

If an attractive guy is in my view, I’ll be inclined to look at him and it might come off as creepy

Mayhaps I have no self-control

Lol lhkhk I do look away when i see an attractive guy when I'm walking, esp when they look at me. Idk why I just feel nervous? I'm insecure af and I hate it. I lost counts of how many times I lost opportunities to date a hot guy bc I was insecure vs the times I attracted the unattractive guys bc I sent them the wrong signals. Tbh, I kind of enjoy that feeling of control when I ignore a hot guy.. This is prob weird but yeah.. It suxks at the same time though.

Oh ok. I think it's because of nervousness and not wanting to appear weird.

I personally avoid eye contact with everyone in general when out in public because I'm super shy. Other than that I feel intimidated if I see handsome guys, plus I don't want to come across as creepy or make them uncomfortable so I just look away and hope they don't notice me.

I just don't want to be caught staring.

Because looking at them makes me nervous. I'm not attracted to them but them being attractive makes me feel intimidated and nervous. It usual only happens with muscular guys and they're rare to see. I hate eye contact too, but I avoid eye contact in general.
