HumanNature 3,240 Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 So, after listening to Hyorin's album 'Love and Hate' for the 100th time and the song 'Falling' been on repeat since November, I can't help but wonder why it has never been performed live. The only songs from her album that she has performed live besides the two title tracks 'Lonely' and 'One Way Love' are 'Massage'. 'Stalker' and 'Closer'. I've noticed that a lot of Kpop groups/soloists tend to neglect their side-tracks most of the time and instead opt for covers of popular songs when given the chance and save their other tracks for solo concerts. Why is that? I loved her live performance of 'Closer' (better than the studio version imo) BUT: This song is literally everything and more That part at 2:51 is GOLD, just imagining it live I've seen most people praise 'Red Lipstick', 'Lonely', 'Closer, 'Stalker' and 'One Way Love'. I think 'Falling' is the best song from her album and it's underrated. Do you agree? Maybe since the public wouldn't be as familiar with the song as with her other more popular songs, she hasn't sung it live. Sometimes the PDs will ask for a specific song. Sometimes they go by whatever is charting well. It really all depends. The fact that she was already promoting with two title tracks made it obvious as to why she didn't perform it. Lonely and OWL were chosen as the title tracks, with more focus on OWL. She did have two or three different showcases, so I don't understand why it was never a part of her showcase then. Maybe because I think Mad Clown is painfully average and ruins the track. she had 3 specials; A 'Love and Hate' show by Mnet, 2 showcases(1 for fans and 1 for the media) still no presence of 'Falling' . She only performed a few songs from the album and some other covers+ Sistar songs. A show just for the album where she performed all songs would be lovely.
