Contrary to popular belief JYP leaders are not selected solely off training time, JYP groups vote for their leaders. However, by training the longest these trainees can naturally fall into a leadership role. There are two strong contenders, Yeji, who was shown to be leading Girls Team 2 on Stray Kids or Chaeryeong, who has the longest training period at five years? Who do you think it will be? In the Stray Kids episode, the girls all seemed to gravitate towards Yeji as their leader. However, Chaeryeong has a lot of experience as well, especially thanks to Kpop star and Sixteen. Or we could be thrown for a loop and another girl ends up being a leader, or no assigned leader at all. Chaeryeong does have a purpose to exist though, she fills out the group with her charms and her dancing skill.
