whenever my friends are talking about marriage and settling in and starting a family. im not interested in any of that. felt more excluded bc im a lesbian and they're all straight and is quite heteronormative. i cant relate to them

and we're only in our early 20s i feel like thats too soon?? although some of my friends are older than me but still

yesterday when my friend told me she officially started dating the guy she's been seeing and its been a couple weeks since then and she didn't say a word

she told one person in our friend group like days after it happened and we were like tf and she kept giving excuses like "ohhh we don't hangout a lot" but she told her casually over message lol?

i mean it isn't really a big deal but we were like oh ok............

The other night when I heard my flatmates partying in the kitchen to early 2000s pop music and singing along enthusiastically. I kept thinking about how one of them sent me a Christmas card that said they hoped I could do more stuff with them in the future... and I kind of wished I could go in there or that one of them would knock on my door because I was literally doing nothing that night.

Like I know I'm the anti-social flatmate but damn I'll drink and awkwardly listen to music with you if you ask.......
