Article 】 Journalists purposefully target female idols? Proofs and symptoms undeniable.

A whole thread went viral because of this incident over the course of past two days.

The Twitter user had made the embed tweet as a thread to highlight the differences of times when male idols cursed either on or off(?) spotlight in comparison to the situations female idols got engulfed into absurd and uncalled for controversy.

Unfortunately though, it appears as though the OP deleted their then existing tweet which explained deeper.

From my observation, it could very well be due to boy group "stans" causing to stir any more drama.

Woollim's apology:

"...This situation carelessly occured when they were just having a conversation.

We apologize for worrying fans and the company will also take more cautions in the future."

1. [+678, -117] There's nothing wrong with swearing, celebrities are people too ã…‹ and besides, haters deserve it

2. [+582, -78] Well haters were spamming their chat calling them crazy b*tches right in front of their faces, what would you expect them to say? "Sorry I'm a crazy b*tch"? Yes, she made a mistake and she should've been more careful, but it's not like she put out a slew of swears or anything. I think it's wrong of the media to latch on to this... Haters should reflect on themselves before leaving hate comments on even this article too.

3. [+61, -17] Idols are people too, of course they'd want to swear in that situation... I do agree that they should've been more careful, though, considering that it was a live stream

4. [+49, -27] I thought they swore something bad like about someone's parents. Since when did "ba$tard" become a swear?

5. [+43, -15] This isn't even that serious

6. [+30, -9] I don't think the member who swore knew that it was a live stream. And what she said wasn't even that bad anyway, everyone swears to that extent in daily conversations. Don't latch on to them as if this is anything scandalous.

7. [+29, -9] Aside from all that, I do think it's going to hit their image a bit, though..

8. [+25, -9] I took a listen and it definitely didn't sound like her first time swearing, she was very fluent with it ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

9. [+19, -4] Can't believe swearing of this level is even considered controversial ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

10. [+14, -9] Well that's an end to their girly girly image ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ talk about being two faced acting all frail and girly on stage all this time ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

Article"So what if they swore" Lovelyz sentiment changes after apology

1. [+1,011, -54] Journalists are really sitting here writing all sorts of 'scandalous' articles about a female idol saying a few swears, it makes me wonder how seriously they're taking actual scandals like the Burning Sun cases..

2. [+707, -53] Did they do drugs? Did they run a club under suspicion of drug use and rape? Enough with these articles about them swearing. Go write about the Burning Sun stuff instead.

3. [+674, -71] What's the big deal about swearing at some haters? They deserved it. I can see why it's a problem since it was during a live stream though. People may act like they're understanding of it now but I guarantee you that in their future articles, the best replies are going to be spamming the swears to make fun of them.

4. [+36, -6] They're people too, why wouldn't they be pissed when haters are hating for no reason ã…¡ã…¡ so enough with the hate, guys

5. [+8, -2] It's been 6 years since Lovelyz debuted and they haven't gotten their big break yet. I actually think all this sympathy talk for them is getting them more attention.

1. [+5,781, -374] What the ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ are celebrities not allowed to swear..?? I don't get it ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ It's not like she said some big swear word either ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

2. [+3,193, -71] Didn't she swear at the haters, though?

3. [+2,476, -92] Lovelyz, please feel free to swear back at haters if you see them, don't hold it in â¤â¤â¤

4. [+2,236, -76] "They should've been more careful"? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Their agency shouldn't be apologizing right now but going after the haters with lawsuits. Imagine how frustrated she must've felt to swear at them like that.

5. [+1,812, -53] There are celebrities who commit crimes and continue on just fine~ this isn't a big deal

[enter-talk] LOVELYZ'S V-APP SWEARING CONTROVERSY

download.jsp?FileID=48654432
The reason why Lovelyz is currently #1 on the related search terms...
Mijoo was doing her V app
(It was always like that but) on that day, there were so many sexually harassing comments and jokes about her family. It was quite a sight..
Yein who was watching her unnie do the live got so mad she said "Why is this f*cker spitting crap again!"
She was whispering but it appeared on broadcast

these were some comments
download.jsp?FileID=48653019
"Mijoo-yah please show me Mijoo-yah please show me Mijoo-yah please show me Mijoo-yah please show me your legs"
download.jsp?FileID=48653020
"Mijoo you're spreading your breasts as usual right?"

download.jsp?FileID=48653022
"You're a failure"

download.jsp?FileID=48653023
"Crazy b*tch"

download.jsp?FileID=48653439
"If you're going to leave, just do it already"

But what's even more shocking
is that although swearing at other people is bad, people take it for granted because they're celebritiesã… ã…
download.jsp?FileID=48654491
"So the swearing are facts?"

ㅇㅇ Why do I feel so sad for Yein seeing her unnie getting sworn at like that??ã… ã…

ㅇㅇ It's such an extreme job to be a female idol.. To be honest, I see a lot of male idols getting sworn at on YouTube, but for female idols, they get sworn at just because of their concept of for gaining weight... I wonder how it must've been to read those comments, my heart hurts. It's so bad for women in their 20's to read those kinds of sexual comments

ㅇㅇ I'm a female idol fan who loved Lovelyz since their debut days... The comments on their V LIVE are seriously disgusting.. Of course, everyone gets dragged. When Sujeongie was doing her mukbang people would tell her to stop eating and swore at her. I'm so thankful for Yein... Lovelyz didn't become celebrities to read comments like that and no one should be reading these types of comments. It's so frustrating to see them say nothing and pretend they didn't see those comments. It's not like it's overly severe swears, but I'm still thankful for Yein ã… ã… ã…  please stop saying those things to celebrities, those people don't even think twice, and are just there to unleash their anger, but those people are precious to the fans. I don't care what things you do it your house, but don't show it to the kids

ㅇㅇ I can't wrap my head around this..

download.jsp?FileID=48653419

"Is it bad to tell her to show her legs and breasts?"

ㅇㅇ It's not like she swore out loud, but it must've been so upsetting ã… ã…  female idols are always smiling on broadcasts but they must be crying behind ..

ㅇㅇ God-Yein ã… ã…  Light-Yein ã…  You're too cool ã… ã…

the most annoying thing is there is a much bigger controversy regarding Seungri (sorry for calling out his name) issue regarding the BS club and now it's buried with articles about them.. I don't want to put down him for this case, because he is still innocent until he is proven guilty, but this show injustice with female idols, and with the fact some people still consider them as rookie (while in reality they are not rookie)

I really relate to Yein. It doesnt affect me much if someone is horrible to me, but I get so furious when someone says something horrible to my friends and family

Don't matter how many articles they post, need be a Jisoo like issue to just even try bury the BS club thing, it's another level. But I believe some "Journalists" are desperately trying give more spotlight to this "issue" with Lovelyz more then this deserve.

Also, rookie? wow and they will complete 5 years now in 2019.
Really my nugu princesses deserve better ohpressor.png
