To give you an idea at how absurd this is, just imagine if Google covered up something like this?

Wtf, their viewers need to know how trash BS is as well as probing into other clubs, who I'm pretty sure operates the same way.

No wonder we have to rely on freaking Dispatch.

There were Articles otherwise NB wouldn't have translated comments from there.

They might have been taking down because the investigation is still going on and all the Articles that came out were filled with he said she said.

Also YG is a shareholder of Naver, so if one of their investors are attacked on a matter that actually doesn't really have anything to do with them i do understand from the buisness point of view that they won't show it on the fron't page.

You might see this as shady, but tbh the whole issue is already drifting away from the main issue and already became a Sungri/YG case

Edit *....Nvm, just completely read the Dispatch article... my mind is totally blank after this, i don't know what to believe or think anymore at the moment regrading this issue

There was an investigation a couple years back that found the government and other public sectors was allowed to pick and choose articles on naver to be removed. Essentially they could cover up things or prevent any critique against them.

That's the gov which should have no control or interest in a private corporation so it's not surprising if naver is helping out a company, YG, which they own part of. It's all shady backdoor dealings.

that was and is normal here in Korea many foreigners especially those from America seem to want to impose this idea we are all the same that reality is far from the truth, yes in the west government and private industry is separate and probably illegal to work together. But here in Korea this had been a norm for decades a byproduct of the industrial revolution in Korea especially after the end of ww2 and then the 70yr long cold war with north Korea. Having articles removed off the next amongst other things was an accepted but questionable decision to be allowed in the constitution because of the threat of north Korean propaganda etc this stuff was a real threat then especially during the early iterations of our government if you bothered to look at the Korean flag it represents which reincarnation we are on.weve also had a few brutal dictators over the past 50yrs, and also face adversaries on three sides, our government does not have very good relationships with china nor Japan, at times these situations could very well turn hostile this explains why the government has had its hands deep into private companies also kpop is used by our government to spread Korean influence =soft power =culture ideas etc to get possible allies and adversaries and neutral parties alike to join us, kpop is directly funded by the Korean government and is under the direct control of the ministry of sports culture and tourism, they dictate what can and cannot be shared including the language used. This is common knowledge to us but to outsiders it isn't we live a totally different life and perspective than any of you can and no one expects you to fully understand because you cannot

So the fear of north Korean propaganda means ongoing south Korean government propaganda is acceptable.
