Do you prefer to have low expectations of yourself so you'll never be disappointed?

No. I think that is not a good way to think. I *like* to be disappointed in myself, actually, because that means I am trying new things that are hard for me. Trying things, failing, being disappointed, and trying again until I succeed is how I grow and learn as a person. I am the king of screwing up, but even though I feel bad about it, at least I feel like I'm *trying*. For me, that's better than not even trying or believing that I can't do things.

Punch yourself in the face everytime you screw up. That'll step up your game quick :P

Fucking up is a part of life, but it it's all about learning from your mistakes and swearing to yourself you won't repeat them

Yes. It's an unhealthy way of thinking for me though since it damages my confidence and always makes me think lesser of myself. I'm trying to change it though. Not to the extent of overestimating myself but more so having realistic expectations rather than low expectations.
