My Everything 23,394 Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 I don’t know the full context but they uploaded a now deleted video talking about it and they discussed the rumors and news that were on the korean media I feel like the apology was unneeded cause in the deleted video they said what they were reporting were all allegations as a disclaimer. They said they even got death threats from people and others wanted to sue them. As new information and Seungri's apology were revealed, they felt they needed to upload an apology video. From memory they said it was a huge controversy in Korea, I got the impression they felt sorry for Seungri. They said that if you’re the CEO of a business that you have a responsibility for what goes on in your business. Getting death threats is ridiculous. Maybe don't say that until an investigation is completed. Or say it like their next sentence that he might be liable if the club was at fault. As for military service, when his Seoul concerts were announced prior to the Burning Sun news, it was reported widely that his enlistment was imminent.
