I think the scriptwriter doesn't have to make every character have perfectly happy ending and show that some characters experience repercussion of what they did. I mean, I felt like I deserved ep 20 after feeling so much frustration (good frustration though hahah) throughout the entire series. I disagree that everything should have ended at ep 19. For me, it would have been too abrupt. Ep 20 felt like closure. If they had thrown in a last minute twist, the ending would have been a wreck with them trying to rush through their newly introduced twist. But anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It's one of the best that I've watched. And if we're being really honest, this ending is probably one of the best compared to most shitty endings that make absolutely no sense. At least this felt like somewhat of an epilogue if you will. We got twists for 19 episodes. One episode without a twist was so good on my heart as a viewer LOL. Any new twist or information would feel rushed. These days most dramas become a trainwreck after 3-4 episodes and just the fact Sky Castle was able to maintain its quality until the end easily makes it my favorite drama since Reply 88. I'm satisfied with the ending it's like a closure to all of them but I still don't understand why Woojoo need to drop out. He just need a few months to graduate. It's seem ridiculous and the scene where all of them skipping class is unnecessary and just too comedic for me. It will give a bad example too. And why they didn't show how Hyena dead. PinkCake 1,161 Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 My favorite scene was def coach Kim and Mr Jo in the bus, it was a really strong scene even tho it was really short, and I loved the way it was shot The part when they go visit hyena was very emotional They still haven't explained what happened btw Suh Jin and Hyena's mom, and I agree they should've added a flashback of her death, they could've switched that for the woojoo leaving plot I also agree the end was way too light, especially for the Kang family, and the grandma too wtf, she was her granddaughter ... but like someone said, it was also pretty realistic I keep wondering if the ending was exactly like this or they changed bc of the script leak >:( or it could be cliffhangers for next season too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don’t see how everyone got a happy ending. Young-Jae?????? Woojoo leaving was stupid though. Happy to see Yeh Suh making friends. I’m so pissednthe twins mum got back with her husband.
