ITZY's Dalla Dalla MV Addresses the Korean Spycam Epidemic

Today ITZY dropped their mv teaser for their upcoming debut single "Dalla Dalla" (Different Different). The teaser notably contained these images.

The girls enter into an elevator-changing room hybrid and begin pulling clothes out of their suitcases to join. However, before changing they notice a camera in the corner. Visibly annoyed by it they ball up their clothing and throw it at the camera breaking it.

Could this be a nod to the spycam epidemic currently happening in South Korea? Women have been targeted by secret cameras filming them in places like changing rooms and bathrooms. For a group whose tagline is "I don't care what they say I am just who I am" it's not unlikely that their music and media would have underlying themes of female empowerment.

JYP's most recently debuted group "Stray Kids" often deals with issues of mental health in their music. Could we be seeing a new trend in socially conscious kpop groups?

reminder that these groups have literally no say in their concept so even if they were to be addressing the spycam thing (in a public space no less) it wouldn't be their idea.

I can already see how annoying the fandom is gonna be.

how?

"IT'Z DIFFERENT!"

"THEY'RE NOT LIKE OTHER IDOL GIRL GROUPS!"

"THEY'RE NOT CUTESEY THEY GOT TALENT"

You can't see it now but it's gonna be Red Velvet times 100 once they get more popular.

But other than that no one in this thread is even agreeing with the theory.
