The Only Child

As an only child, your personality tends to be spoiled. You’re used to getting what you want, but you are more than capable of either getting it for yourself or pouting to someone until you get it. They usually struggle in adjusting with peer relationships, which makes the transition to school very difficult.

The Firstborn

Firstborn children grow up to make more money and we have already said that hey have a higher IQ and verbal skills than their younger siblings. The oldest child tends to be the most dependable and responsible. Oldest children may happen to be a perfectionist and try to excel in either sports or academics.

The Middle Child

You are really good at keeping the peace and arguing to get what you want. You are comfortable speaking up for yourself because you had to. You also are better at being left to take care of yourself and are more independent. Middle children have excellent social skills, can typically manage emotions well, and pick up on subtle signals from people easily. However, when it comes to attention, they can be fierce competitors.

The Youngest Child

You are very charismatic and outgoing, partly because you had to speak up to be heard over your siblings. Mom and Dad were more confident parents by the time they had you. Youngest child become the fastest athletes, the best musicians, or the most talented artists.

I mean I do have better verbal skills but that’s not a high bar to top for my sis... :derp: I’m not responsible at all but I am a perfectionist sometimes

Yeah the only child stereotype is bullshit. Wasnt spoiled at all, and I'm definitely not "used to getting what I want" lol.. at least not without working for it. I am a bit of a loner but I have plenty of friends as well. Without siblings you quickly learn how to be comfortable by yourself.

What about even number families where there's no middle child?

These descriptions only make sense for families with 3 or less children
