I am not a huge drama fan but in general J-Drama's

They are shorter which can hold my attention, and the plots are more original.

With K-dramas there are some that I love, but that is because the characters are really lovable, the plot is usually a repeat of something else, and some go on too long and drag it so I forget about finishing them.

i like both but i think i like j-dramas more bc the plots are more interesting and there are more variety, but k-dramas have better scenery and more good looking people

that sounds sad AF, any happy ones?

romcom: hotaru no hikari (2 seasons + movie), zettai kareshi

comedy: atashinchi no danshi, my boss my hero, legal high, deka wanko

mystery/suspense/police/drama/crime: tokyo dogs, keizoku 2 spec (+movies), liar game (2 seasons + movie), kagi no kakatta heya...

I watch way more kdrama than jdrama, so I picked the former.

There's only one jdrama I've truly loved but then again I haven't watched that many (or maybe I've just watched the wrong ones.  Popular anime/manga adaptations basically). There's also the availability issue as well, it's easier for me to just stream stuff on viki.
