On January 30, an affiliate of 'Burning Sun' spoke with Sports Kyunghyang and revealed, "It's true Seungri operated 'Burning Sun' but he's not actually the owner." The insider explained another figure is actually the owner and said, "While working on the interior for the club, the owner overheard that Seungri is looking for a location to run a club so offered to work together to Seungri."The insider continued, "People think Seungri is the CEO," however, "It's true he predominantly operated the club but he's not the official owner." Prior to this, KBS reported Seungri resigned from his position as director at 'Burning Sun' last week. Meanwhile, netizens are demanding Seungri take responsibility for the assault controversy surrounding 'Burning Sun.' Comments stated, "Didn't he say it's his club and it's opening soon when he appeared on 'I Live Alone'?" "He stated many times that it's his own club. Why is he changing his position now?" "Trying to dump the responsibility on someone else. Watch him make his military enlistment soon now." "Operated the club but doesn't own it... That's bullsh*t. The police is investigating the whole issue and will find out who was all involved in the whole mess and these people should be punished for it. I just hope for Seungri that he isn't involved in the organized crime, but more importantly that the victims especially the woman will get the justice she deserves. I'd say 'the police will investigate it' in any other case, but this time the police is directly involved into mess, it kinda nullifies our chances to find the truth. Burning Sun released the footage of Kim inside the club. contrary to his initial claims of trying to help a victim, he was seen following a girl 2 female victims filed complaints to the police on Dec 21st accusing Kim of sexually harassing them. Seungri himself, the club or even media have had days to say if he is or isn't and so far none of them have said he isn't/wasn't the owner, the only thing we know is that he stepped down only last week. And the attention being on Seungri proves it all, y'all don't care about the actual sexual offender, the only thing y'all care, is for Seungri's and BIGBANG's career to be over. This is just another kpop thingy for y'all, Burning Sun already released CCTV showing him allegedly harassing a girl and following her around in the club. She stops dancing and tries to get away from him, even goes up to someone else who confronts him (and he followed her there). All of the media's focus has already shifted to the guy who got beat up when the real issue here is if there are women that are getting drugged and raped in that club. Who can even prove that tho?
