Jay Park Being A Mess

My Everything

Recommended Posts

I would be more suprised by people actually being shocked. Jay Park showed several times already that he doesnt give a shit about other people being offended or upset by what he does and says.

Also comparing wearing dreads to non-korean people using the word 'mukbang' is peak dumbassery.

lol all this does is remind me that I have to retwist my brother's locs b4 his job interview next week

I've mentioned before that I'm done with this trend of people being outraged over things like hair and words but ghosting when blacks want to discuss being sold into slavery in certain areas of the world, dying in the streets, getting funds cut from education, and things that are actively trying to destroy the people. I mean, I wonder that if concerned citizens know that you get be excused from a job for having locs then what's being done about the fact that someone can lose a chance to provide for themselves and their families while we're super busy telling people about why other ethnicities can't wear dreads (and the reasons we provide often aren't even relevant to the real issue which dates back to American blacks, Jamaicans, and the "dreadful" term coined by Europeans-it had nothing to do with whites wearing locs). Yea, miss me with it.

Jay park has been a mess since always and I've always found him off. Nonetheless I still find it absolutely wild that people put this much effort into being keen about hairstyles.

when you give these blackaboos an inch they take a mile

I notice that someone quoted you and was like "you get banned for using that word" so Imma assume that you used the word that starts with an n got two gs and ends with an a. And I'll say that's very fitting.

Just because of how negative it makes that term to be.

Like there's fanatics and then there's SAESANGS.

There's locs and then there's DREADlocks.

There's box braids and then there's DOOKY braids.

Ok tbh when it comes to dreads/locs it's really hard to tell if it's cultural appropriation towards black People.

What many don't know is that dreads were a common hairstyle for vikings for example. Archaeologies have found mummies from the stone age that head their hair looking like dreads.

If you don't wash , comb or don't take care of your hair they also turn into dreads.

The reason why we link this to black People is because of the Rastafaris, a religion and social movement from Jamaica with their roots being Abrahamic religion (old testerment). Rastafarians grow their hair long, before coiling it into dreadlocks.

The wearing of hair in dreadlocks by Rastafarians is believed to be spiritual this is justified in the Bible

"They shall not make baldness upon their head." Leviticus 21:5

Their whole idiology is based on living naturally and carefree. So many white people i saw with dreads weren't disrespectful towards black People but belong to that religion.

It's NOT a cultural hairstyle it's based on religious beliefs , like Muslim women wearing a hijab or Jews a kippah.

So basically everyone wearing dreads while not being part of the religion is being disrespectful here. Yes even Blacks.

We got other hairstyle that could be viewed cultural but not dreads.
