Yes, but most cases it's because I know that person, may be bc we had class together, went to the same school/club, but we never officially met

Most of the time when I get introduced to someone its a person i've seen a few times. But for the sake of saving the awkwardness on my end I don't mention about seeing them before until they do. Then I go and acknowledge the fact
