Article[Exclusive] Burning Sun rep, "Seungri is not actually the owner of the club"

Source: Sports Kyunghyang via Naver

1. [+10,450, -67] He went around with his own mouth saying that he was personally involved with his businesses. The scandal happened in November, and he still owned the club at the end. Just because he quit last week doesn't mean he's not associated with this anymore...???

2. [+7,067, -184] Look at him slyly pulling out now ã…‹ã…‹ I've lost all respect for him. Please never come out on TV again or release any more music.

3. [+4,374, -49] But what made him resign a week ago?? He looked really proud of his club. So what's the reason~

4. [+4,212, -175] Seungri and his club are both issues but the bigger issue is that the police committed assault.

5. [+3,404, -1,766] Why is the focus always on Seungri? The point of this scandal are the police and the criminal and victim, no?

6. [+690, -7] The scandal happened over two months ago and he only resigned from his position two weeks ago when the scandal started blowing up ã…‹ã…‹ Does he think we're stupid? He was on 'I Live Alone' just last March talking about how he's so 'different' from other celebrities who only put their name up on clubs because he personally runs his club himself. That video is still on YouTube. Seungri-ya, how can you get more pathetic as time goes on?

7. [+626, -14] ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ He's really trying to weasel himself out of this in desperation;; I lose more respect for him the more I find out about him

8. [+543, -4] It doesn't matter that he resigned right now, it matters that he was CEO at the time the scandal happened.. Just because he resigned doesn't mean the scandal never happened. That's ridiculous.

9. [+326, -4] ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ But Seungri himself said that he owned that club and that he personally ran it, so if he's not the owner, was he just giving volunteer service this entire time? Why was he promoting a club that wasn't his? He resigned from his position a week before the scandal came to public light. He seemed super proud of this club on past TV shows but oh, he's not the owner anymore?

1. [+1,822, -16] Didn't he call it his own club on 'I Live Alone' and talked about how it was opening soon?

2. [+1,799, -11] Then why was he on 'I Live Alone' talking about how he was opening his own club and that he was directly involved with it like checking the lighting and stuff. Now he's denying involvement and saying he doesn't own it?

3. [+1,525, -14] Trying to weasel out?

4. [+137, -1] "Resigned last week" ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ is this a comedy show

5. [+91, -1] Feels like they keep changing their story... ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ What matters here is whether Seungri knew all of this was going down or not, why keep beating around the bush?

6. [+84, -0] Such an obvious excuse ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ he said so himself that he was directly involved ã…‹

7. [+81, -0] He said with his own mouth on 'I Live Alone' that he was directly involved, did he forget that???

8. [+78, -0] Wow ã…‹ã…‹ trying his hardest to get out of this ã…‹ã…‹

ArticleSeungri remains silent on Burning Sun assault scandal "Resigned last week"

Source: Seoul News via Naver

1. [+250, -2] The scandal happened two months ago ã…‹ã…‹ he resigned a week ago ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ does he think he can just cut his tail off and be absolved of responsibility? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

2. [+151, -0] He's the worst... so this is his way of saying he's not going to take responsibility... daebak disappointed, I really didn't expect this of him

3. [+97, -2] So this is how big of a piece of trash he is

4. [+53, -1] How are you human...

5. [+17, -0] Stay off of TV now... I no longer want to see you. You went around promoting your club so hard and now you say you resigned a week ago... so disappointed in you.

His resignation doesn't mean he's anywhere near innocent, in fact it makes him look even more guilty. To add on to that, I hope that this case won't be turned away from the victim, because that poor woman needs justice and we can't forget that.

The entire company needs to be investigated, and as a longtime BIGBANG fan I am severely disappointed in Seungri

liar the situation happened awhile ago and he knew yet he didn't fire any of the staff

I'm telling you 100% he only left a week ago probably because someone threatned to release the info

he's disgusting and should be in jail

as a ri stan and long time vip i must say im disappointed with the way hes handling it... if anything the silence is just making him look guilty and him resigning just a week prior to this news blowing up isnt helping either.. please for fans sake come out and clarify and take responsibility please!

At least he resigned as a director before the whole thing blew up.

So they are saying he isn't an owner as well? I find this a bit hard to believe. Maybe he owned a 10% share of the club.

I have to say, directors don't operate a business daily. All the directors might meet once a month or every 2 months and vote on various decisions. If a director does not like what is happening in the business, then they may resign as a director.

I’m legit upset that the guy who was abused by the people who were supposed to protect him and the many women that were assaulted won’t get justice

It reminds that as long as you have money and power you can get away with anything and that you can’t trust nobody but yourself

lol knetz aren't having it

5. [+3,404, -1,766] Why is the focus always on Seungri? The point of this scandal are the police and the criminal and victim, no?

Because if he knew about these crimes taking place in his establishment, which a lot of signs are suggesting to be true, then he's complicit in these criminal doings and is just as guilty as the actual perpetrators.
