Just giving fans fake hope. 10 days stay can be prolonged to 15 days, maybe even 20 days. But prolonged vacation of 10 days to year... Its basically called leaving. How does she thinks being part of the group in Korea would even work when she isnt even meeting her group members neither training with them. And honestly after such a long hiatus we all know Pledis isnt going to let them comeback so taking her things and start anew in US would make more sense than this. It is really damaging to stop promoting when you are a rookie, especially a girl group rookie. Groups do that you know, promote with 1 less member. Or even as 8 if Kyulkyung was in China. At least their she has he family for support not to mention they are probably not being paid by Pledis, so any daily expenses in Korea would have to come from her or her parents.
