i think they are cause in Mainkand China they are using mandarin while in Taiwan they are using Cantonese if I remember correctly

Taiwan and Mainland China both use Mandarin as their standard language (for school, media, etc) but Mainland China has tons of languages depending where you live while Taiwan mainly speaks Hakka or Hokkien in informal settings. But both countries use Mandarin as lingua franca. So in Taiwan and Mainland China, media (like TV, movies, music) will definitely be using Mandarin. 

 

Because Mainland China has tons of languages, Mandarin is their bridging language. This is the reason why TV dramas are dubbed since China is so big, the actors have varying accents in Mandarin. To make it sound more uniform, they're dubbed. Taiwan uses Mandarin too but they have a specific accent of their own.
