(Poll) What is better ? ONE TAKE or the normal EDITED MULTI CAM live performance ??

This is an example of a One Take performance on a music show... just one cam is filming.. no cuts to other cams....

 

 

 

Is this the solution to the bad editing of Korean Music Shows ? Would You prefer more One Take performances instead of the editor jumping from cam to cam and messing up on a regular basis ? haha.

Better to see a perf from diff angles

 

That one take perf worked well in that case bec the camera really focused on whoever's singing and it coincided with the choreo/diff formations. A normal typical perf in a music show doing one take would not work as well. It would become repetitive.

It honestly depends on what the choreo is and also the conditions? Like is it fully live or pre-recorded? Not to mention that certain formations need a change of angle to be properly seen.

 

So one take is great but it suits only certain cases (the first Mic Drop perf is a mix of a one take up to a point then it has changes of angles and it works pretty fine that way)
