A new crop of top young actors have emerged from China - two of them were former SM trainees.

Both are 1997 liners, appeared in the Wolf drama MV

 

Both just broke out massively thanks to being in surprise hit dramas (something I don't think even EXO Chinaline has truly achieved - their dramas had buzz because they starred in it, not really the other way around)

 

Both are AMAZING visuals.

I think thats basically the scandal, that they left. I read somewhere that as long as the Chinese Kpop idol starts gaining popularity, Chinese brokers would be knocking down their doors with tempting lucrative offers for them to break their sm contracts.

Zhaolin's acting is great and he seems like a sweetheart. Haven't seen any of Minghao's dramas yet but I'm not interested in him. When I have watched all other dramas I have on my list I might try one of his. When We Were Young seems popular.
