Official YG Magnum [OT6 - Treasure13] Thread

GRISHA - A Yoonbin Stan

Recommended Posts

Okay whew. I will let out my rant here because I agree that everyone deserves a chance to move on in the main thread and we can just discuss the future of the other trainees here.

It's honestly a far-fetched dream of mine right now that Yoonbin will go to Cube and Mashiho will be scouted from their J-auditions.

I honestly was upset yesterday that YB didn't make it as well but as a super talented and good-looking K-trainee that has a very sizeable and dedicated fandom that will follow him wherever, I am 200% sure he will be receiving offers and while I can't be sure he goes for Cube, I want him in a new and hyped BG that can debut ASAP. I can't believe he was waiting until yesterday as well but at his age he just needs to leave and try his hand in another successful group. I am not attempting to underrate his disappointment and sadness over the results when I say he is a mature and bright guy with a personality that will take him far in life. He seems highly intelligent, reasonable and in control of his assets. I'm not worried for him getting over things after a week or so and taking a big step forwards to find success elsewhere. I hope to see him debuting ASAP.

Now... Mashiho on the other hand. I'm scared to death I won't see him again for a long time because he was locked in the J-dungeon for 5 years and to think that he could be cheated of this debut and then literally disappear again is too much for me to stomach. How can that kind of injustice even be allowed...

I HATE his options as a Japanese trainee because he's currently situated in Japan and will have to come back to Korea on another agency's call... and also take that risk. On that note, I have derailed into immense worrying over his mental state. He was also waiting until yesterday but he's the kind of person who thought he would get in for sure after his capabilities and efforts (who didn't lmao, the only logical conclusion) and I don't even want to think about the hit to his sense of self-worth and mentality. Many of his actions reveal to me that he was just so invested in this Korean debut whether it was the heart tapping, emotions in general, and most of all the infamous panic attack over the thought of losing that spoke so much louder than any words will.

I worry about his future and whether he'll be debuting in a possible (dubious at least) J-group or accepting a different Korean agency's offer (still so concerned about this, I don't know if anyone would actually negotiate to take him from the YGEX label under AVEX and it would probably have to be under the Japanese branch of Cube's call which is why I am just bagging on them omg), but he'll have to take a second risk with an equal chance of heartbreak and go to Korea again. I highly doubt he's even aware of the auditions tbh, I wish he wasn't so fixated on YG.

I don't know how much time he needs to heal over this whole debacle and regain his confidence and assurance of hard work. I just need reassurance that he will try one more time and won't give up and be limited from his dream of debuting as an idol, even if it's not under his dream agency. His career options are so limited and I still wish sometimes he went straight for becoming a Johnny's idol because everyone knowledgeable about the industry says they can see it in him.

I hope he proves me wrong with his strength and resilience and turns the devastation into anger. The first thing i would personally do if CHEATED and sabotaged like this would be to question things and then never look back if not offered any plausible explanations. But we're not the same people. We have established YG fucked him over immensely after he trained under them for 5 years, but will he be able to move on? There is also always the possibility of the J-boy group. I just HATE that I don't even know if or when I'll next receive news of him. I don't even know where he mf lives in Japan lmfao.

For now, I will try communicating with a few K and J-fans to see about other agencies.

Also, it seems no matter what we always seem to hold on to some hope of OT9. Yoonbin and Mashiho don't have the largest fanbases yet, but they're still super big and most of all, INCREDIBLY dedicated. Yoonbin especially will carry around this fanbase with him no matter where he goes so I'm not worried about his hype dying and support fading away, but Mashi being locked in the dungeon terrifies me. I literally had no idea of his popularity myself lmao idek where it came from. He had almost double the likes of everyone on the most recent TB instagram post and 3 times the comments. People are crazy for him and I don't want to think that YG would actually waste that. Maybe one day YG will wake up and his brain will implode to the fact he seriously let the two of them go, who knows. But for now I'm just hoping for news ^^

Apart from that, I think Yeonggue will be a vocalist in the next YGBG, and Yunseo should definitely take his chances on Produce X. Hope to hear news of Jyunhao as well!

Just had to get this out of my system.

I don't know if it's right or wrong but I'm happy you have Treasure Box viewers making their displeasure known on social media and beyond. YG can't get away from this debacle unscathed so I hope his IG has turned into a complete war zone. Flame emoji that, YG.

I want YG and his staff to know they made the wrong decision which only compounded itself with the patronizing fake power they gave to us as "Treasure Makers". We had no input. We were popularity pawns for the show. I feel bad for every single person who was passionate enough to vote everyday, tap hearts, and watch videos only to realize their efforts were scammed almost as badly as Mashiho, Yoonbin, and the rest of the boys. YG's 50% exposed his incompetence and his willingness to sabotage proven and popular talent unjustly. Congratulations YG, you played yourself.

What's even more amazing? The original battle lines of Team A+Jihoon and Treasure 7/GB would have rather had the other side's lineup than the Frankenstein one they saddled us with. That's how badly YG messed up in his decision process. He managed to anger so many different segments of the audience. Korean to international. Hardcore to casual.

Worst of all, the unprofessional method of announcing the lineup. The emotional torture the trainees faced as they had to act like common fans and refresh YG's IG in order to see if they made the group or not. This whole ordeal was a lesson in cruelty.

YG deserves the storm.

Wow girl. Scathingly put and super well delivered. Let the whole world see it lol.

I have no idea how Korean laws work but could Mashiho take YG to court? The sabotage wasn't even subtle. Anyone who is objectionable could see he was robbed of a debut. With YG's voting criteria and statistical evidence on Vlive and Youtube, you can easily prove YG gave him 0/50 but gave others a full 50/50. Performance videos would show the complete inaccuracy of those scores. YG obviously hasn't perfected the Big Brother style of under the radar rigging.

YG literally screwed over his life and mentality right in FRONT of our very eyes, nothing could be more obvious or nonsensical and filled with injustice, and we are literally powerless to stop it. I said back then after he won the dance that he was a lock unless YG pulled some seriously sketchy shit. And he literally DID. And now it's just happening and someone was sabotaged and cheated and time will just keep on passing.

I have no idea honestly speaking lol. But no, I don't think Mashiho can take YG to court when he's probably still in breakdown-mode.

I hope the backlash is so severe YG has to pull a Momoland and add two eliminated members way after the fact. A global group without a fluent English speaker and a 2nd Japanese member with worldwide appeal? What was YG smoking?

He's obviously gunning for the Korean fandom which doesn't make sense when he already has Junkyu and Haruto. He really lost it with this one. Does he seriously think they're gonna have the international relevance BP do when there isn't a single english speaker and he refuses to put in a foreign trainee with huge international relevance like Lisa?

Just... nobody can explain.

I am a bit surprised too (bc i am so used to people hating cube and telling everyone to run) but i guess there are a few reasons like

Will debut a group soon (6+ months)

Doesnt have a final line up yet and is still actively looking for possible members

Is explicitely looking for japanese trainees and holding monthly auditions in Japan

Also they arent one of the big3 but many expect their group to be successful because of Guanlin and Seonho who already have their own fanbases, especially Guanlins is really powerful

Also cube is definitely not the best company (who is honestly?) but I do think people are a bit quick to judge them based on some things that happened. Despite that there have also been enough mentions on how much trainees get along and how there is a family bond + healthy competition, also how well they take care of foreign trainees, cube also allows artistic freedom ... regarding promotions etc cube definitely improved too

My reasoning. G-idle is doing fine under Cube even if some of their stages are a bit questionable and debuting in a group where members are already popular gives a much better opportunity in terms of management and recognition/hype.

A girl can hope..............

I think Yoonbin should join produce, he'll succeed for sure. It's a good sign his sister is aware and seriously, it's so lucky that he's to an extent contactable through her. She was talking to a fan and Yoonbin actually knows of Twitter and a few of his fan accounts. Not surprised though since he was an international student.

Also... the Korean comments on the group after the unveiling today were indeed pretty brutal. "This is why the company is failing." I think the int-side is in shambles sometimes but like... damn. Okay. If YG has any sense, send the rest somewhere proper please. That man is incredible in the manner he literally managed to piss off almost every single person. I hope the group still does really well, the boys don't deserve his mess.

What if this group is the R&B to Treasure's Pop?

Can we get Yeongue too? WTH is happening?

Blackpink is about to be surrounded by a sea of boy groups and I'm okay with that.

If 2 groups was the plan, why not Silver Boys and Treasure 7 + Jaehyuk?

Mashiho as Nation's Center is still alive. Ember, I'm crying!

Maybe Keita will be in this since Gon and Seunghun left

Please... please...

I've never wanted so much in my life. I'm praying he heard us. Mashiho deserves this more than anyone

If only Gonhun had waited for another week, they could have had the possibility of debuting in the other group. Now I feel bad.

Also, could this have been the additional news Epik was talking about.

He saw files ending with

Treasure additional

Treasure additional 2

I thought it could've been two extra members but now this just confuses me? I have no idea tbh

Y'ALL FREAKINGGG PRAYER CIRCLE FOR MASHI AND YOONBIN

Lmfao mess, BLINKS are already furious

YG needs to be careful with the management of all these groups because we don't need any more dedicated antis. Unfortunately I'm on the boys' side for this one, I need my Shiho to debut.

People were right when they were talking about a potential OT6, who would've thought

It's just that it's the wrong OT6 given GonHun unfortunately left

My opinion of Seunghun was honestly wrong, the editors seriously did him dirty this show and I need to apologise for that just for myself lol. He's a nice, sweet dude that seriously loves his fans and his mother is so kind as well. I followed him on Instagram and will be supporting him and his releases from now on, I hope he finds success elsewhere.

I thought maybeeeeee OT9 after I saw the file names. But let's go with this new group... prayer circle for Mashi TT I just can't ever be sure of anything

Might be unpopular opinion but honestly I would've liked it better if Seunghun is in too

I fell for him so damn late (after finals) seeing how sweet he is with fans.

And he IS a good singer. His voice goes damn well with Mashi too

Well too bad he's out of yg now rlytearpls.png

I feel bad about him but it's entirely too late now... they were probably informed so they left YG. It would've hurt huh, to know you didn't make it into the other line-up either. I feel especially terrible for Gon but it looks like they're both pushing through and will be gunning for a new start. I'll support both when they release
