Hi, this is my first post here, I hope we'll get along ilikeitplz.png

I really like both of their recent releases, the songs have really grown on me and while I ended up liking the dance for Fukyuwaon, I'm curious to see how they'll do it live, especially since some parts could end up looking messy if they're not in sync meowfaceplz.png And since today is the release of Keyaki's single, I saw some predictions for their sales but to be honest if they pass 400k I'd already be really happy rlytearpls.png

welcome a board.

I'm curious to know what Keyaki's possible 1st week total would be, but I'm happy that they just keep on rising ahmagahplz.png

this song has really grown on me; the hand movements in the Boom Boom part still has a sort of 'rushing' feeling every time I watch it, but I now like it overall meowfaceplz.png

Saimajo is still on the karaoke charts, so a very welcome and happy 1st anniversary for them!

Listening to the HQ audio of Eccentric makes me realize it uses the style of delivery from people like Suiyobi no Campanella. Very pleasant surprise for me, especially since I didn't take a listen to the rip.

There was an interesting article posted on Oricon recently about Nogizaka46 and their presence of Female Fans:

"Nogizaka 46 's 17th single "Influencer" (released on March 22) recorded his first weekly sales of 875,000 copies sold and won the top 4/3 weekly single ranking leaders. Their momentum, which celebrates the 5th anniversary of their debut in February, will only increase year by year, but the presence of "female fans" is driving their popularity.

One of the reasons for boosting female popularity would be the placement of members as Female Fashion Magazine Models. Saito Asuka ("CUTiE" / Takarajimusha), Nishino Nanase ("non-no" / Shueisha), Matsumura Sha Friends ("CanCam" / Shogakkan) and others became active exclusively as a popular magazine one after another, building an idol image which is not so far as a role model for the same age female.

For women of the same age, they are "familiar admiration". To that proof, when the Members walked the runway at the "24th Tokyo Girls Collection 2017 SPRING / SUMMER" held on March 25 last month, the cheer of the women in the hall was reverberating.

Many women who become fans knowing the charm as an idol, such as songs and performances, as opportunities besides music activities, recently said that "When the proportion of women is increasing even at the handshake association and the concert venue, "I feel like I'm feeling" (woman in her 30s), "even at external events such as" Tokyo Girls Collection ", I got to see lots of women who wore Nogizaka goods" (female in their twenties) and the voice of the fans are also heard.

It is reflected also in the sales of their Photo Albums, 2nd Photo Book "Passport" of Shiraishi Mai, which sold over 160,000 copies, 33% of total sales were from Women buyers.

Also, since the members began being appointed as exclusive models of fashion magazines, the impact is also noticeable in CD sales. For example, while the first week sales of the 5th single "Kimi no Na wa KibÅ" launched in March 2001 in which Shiraishi was appointed as a "Ray" Model was 242 thousand copies, one year later In the monthly release 8th single, it is nearly doubled to 458 thousand sheets of initial week sales.

After that, their 11th single "`Inochi wa Utsukushī" sold 500 thousand copies of initial weekly sales, their 13th single "Ima, hanashitai dareka ga iru" had first week sales of 627 thousand copies sold, the 15th single "Hadashi de Summer" sold 728 thousand copies of first week sales, their popularity has expanded with its vigorous sales.

It is expected that a further leap of the group affinity for the same sex will be advanced."

And yet Joysound is still showing 33% of the fans are female, versus AKB48's 49% and Keyaki's 52%. Something is going wrong.

interesting, I've seen several articles on Oricon and segments on TV shows about Nogi (in particularly Maiyan) and their effect on female fans, it could be media play or a possible explanation as to why their male to female ratio is so low on Joysound0u0plz.png

I think that's how they want to advertise it to get their female fan # up, but I don't think its working. Female fan numbers are concentrated on to see actual popularity - and its clear from these numbers that they don't really have the actual stats to back up that claim.
