Probably the best formation.All the members really deserve their place especially Kiichan&Ashurin.

 

I'm expecting alot from this Single.

(Their sister group Keyakizaka46 is slowly growing into a formidable rival as well.Hopefully Reika can act as a captain and lead the group with the new 3rd gens coming in)

 

On a side note,anyone know when is their 46 live going to happen again?

We got 12 new members for 3rd Gen! They had to choose from 13 girls in the end, poor last girl got cut.

Do feel bad for the last girl though,she was so close to being a member.Any ideas who were the members that didn't reveal their i face? I believe entry no.7 and 12 did not reveal their faces in showroom.

To be honest i don't see the issue here,its only the hat that looks alike didn't have to make such a big fuss about it and like the person said "some Japanese don't seem to be as educated about Nazism"

Well what really sets me off here is why is the person not recognizing keyakizaka for who they are and just simply posted the thread as "Japanese idols Dress as Nazis" Theres alot of malice and ignorance in that title and can cause alot of controversy

I wanted to start getting into 46g for the longest time, can someone help me out by getting started? 

Welcome to the 46 Family,first of all let me say that i'm also a newbie but i hope this gets you to understand and love the 46Group even better.

 

So basically,there are two groups Nogizaka46 and Keyakizaka46 and they both were produced by "Akimoto Yasushi".The "46" Group was created as an official rival group to the "48" Group.

-Here,AKB & Nogizaka did a Collaboration together

 

Basically,the two 46 groups were produced with different types of images as you can apparently see in their CD jackets.

 

Nogizaka46:Elegant&Sophisticated Ladies  

Keyakizaka46:Militaristic and independent Ladies

 

Currently,Nogizaka46 has released 16 singles the newest one being "Sayonara no imi" and Keyakizaka46 has released only 3 singles the newest being "Futari Saison"

Seems like keyakizaka will be performing a one man live event at Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo on the 24th and 25th this month.It also seems like it will be aired on AbemaTV

Hi! I'm new. So, what are the differences between Nogizaka and Keyakizaka?

Firstly let us welcome you warmly to the 46G fandom.So lets start the lesson.

 

Firstly,lets about when they debuted.Nogizaka46 debuted with their first single on 2012 February 15th and Keyakizaka46 debuted with their first single on 2016 April 6th.Therefore this makes Nogi,Keyaki's Senpai/elder sister.

 

Nogizaka currently has 47 members which includes 3 Generations and 1 has announced their graduation and is set to graduate next year "Hashimoto Nanami".Keyakizaka on the other hand has 32 members which includes 2 Generations called Kanji Keyaki and hiragana keyaki.

 

Nogizaka has released 16 singles and 2 albums whiles Keyakizaka only has released 3 singles.

 

When Akimoto Yasushi produced the groups he made sure that each of the group had different images.Below you can see roughly see their concept in their cd covers

Keyakizaka was produced with a concept of being Militaristic and independent Ladies while nogizaka46 was produced with a concept of being Elegant&Sophisticated Ladies.

Yep its definitely new.Seems like its called W-Keyakizaka's Poetry/Song and the W is suppose to be a short form of the word double

Yo I went out of lurking to say I love keyakizaka46, they are amazingly good!

The girls are slaying hardcore and the best part of it all,is that they are still growing and will definitely improve

You can always go for the ã¿ã‚“ãªå¤§å¥½ AKA MD route which means i like all of the members for a short period before choosing your oshi which is what i did for keyaki at the start cause there wasnt really much info around back then so i'd say stick around for a few more months maybe till next single then decide.BTW its much more fun to find out about the members yourself.Its like finding a chest of unknown treasures where you decide its worth.

 

Oh for nogizaka i would definitely recommend listening to "Inochi Wa Utsukushi"

 

For Keya its a tough choice but i really recommend "Aozora Ga Chigau"

Im not too sure though NGT48 have not released a single yet and STU48 is set to debut next year i think next year there will be some fierce competition however if keyakizaka can hit 700 000 sales in 2017 that will be pretty sweet despite all the challenges that are about come

Good thing is that you will easily be able to distinguish them from their height she is 9cm taller then shiraishi and fun fact her oshi is maiyan i believe.she also has great potential to become an model. expecting great things from the 3rd Gen members

I don't think NGT will be much of a rival since the 48G hype is over anyway.

IDK what's up with NGT......seems like they're glorified cruise entertainment tbh........

 

Asuka's growing on me lately~

 

 

I do agree on the part where NGT won't be much of a rival as Keyaki definitely snowballed their popularity effectively.However there will be fierce competition next year and i mean in terms of sales and i got a feeling that many members in akb may announce their grads next year who knows that might shift peoples attention to the akb group.Both nmb and ske recently have been releasing pretty good singles.NGT have not released their single and since they are signed under sony music the same as the 46 you can expect great things not only that,STU48 is set to debut next year and that novelty can be utilized to attract potential fans for the 46 group.Not only that you got 3rd gens coming in for Nogi therefore next year will be crucial for Keyaki as they will be facing newer groups and their rival and sister groups however all an "theory,A FAN THEORY" BTW i guess we can agree on how Asuka is slayin right now

48g always have sales anyway but even if 46G have lower sales, they have more public interest so I'm not bothered about it. I think NGT would probably get around 200k at most with all branch group sales have been declining tho. If Keya can keep up their momentum then they don't have much to worry with Saison selling 442k.

 

Ofc if there's a rival it make things more interesting lol~

Always got this feeling next year is gonna be better i expect more from all the groups if it means pushing all the groups so that they improve,im all for it.I wan the groups to grow so big that the bloody block heads at management will start make things easier for foreign fans to get access to idol content.The prospects for 2017 seems interesting already

I was aware of the 46 family, but it was only today that I took my time to watch their videos, and... I fell in love with Keyakizaka46. These girls are so so so good, I just love everything about them <3

 

It's interesting that in my discovering journey I've searched about almost all of the other groups from the 48 family (losing myself in the generations and different concepts, and learning about the way these groups works), even SNH48 (which is my favorite along K46, even though they aren't part of 48 family anymore), watched Sayonara no Imi by N46 girls and then, just then, discovered the amazing Futari Saison, the best video from the group that made me accept that from now on I would also not be just a fan of korean idols, but japanese too (I was already in love with C-ute and becoming a fan of Angerme, but, at least for me, the 48/46 groups are in another level of idol group, H!P is a different thing.)

 

With that said, I'm officially on the japanese idol boat (and pretty happy and satisfied about it, hope I don't regret this). Anything you guys have to say for a new fan? :D

So who looks more like Maiyan? Katou Shiho or Umezawa Minami.

Well both have their own distinct features and are so pretty but im going to say Minami cause her features resemble maiyan more
