Also they are often disregarded as chinese/ asian and that make them not attractive in eyes of lot of people (adult or not) So I don't think a kpop group will ever become worldwide known because of people internalized xenophobia. Bts are known, but their music is still liked by mosltty teenagers( yeah there are few exeption) and most of adult don't reconize them as a something more than a group made for teenage horny fangirls.
