List of saddest moments of Berry Good...

 

When exclusive producer, core member of their team and one of founders of the group died and they still had to go on a stage only few days after it with song he teached them in hospital. He was the one who gave them Love Letter as debut song because they reminded him his first love in school. The song which they promoted right after his dearth is called My first love and the lyrics are about first love which is one sided and isnt given back.

 

 

When the members made the company to let them comeback with best bop of the year because they were sure it was going to be hit, yet it was their biggest flop and my bias said the company will never let them go this route anymore. Even though it could be their chance. Only if BTS, Twice, BlackPink and Taeyeon didnt promote at the same time...

 

 

When girlies were crying during their 3rd anniversary because they didnt think they would last this long. They cried to thecpoint of not being able to finish covers.

 

 

When they went safety pants less for at least some attention and openly said it maybe their last promotion if their sales and chart performance wont get better. Just few weeks after DIA used "disbandment" as promo technique for their first win so nobody took them seriously even though they are the group in dangerous position.

 

 

This year is last year of leader Taeha's contract... Hopefully only good things will follow them since now.

 

I know some groups went through some seriously heartbreaking moments too, some went even through much harder times. These are just moments which stroke my bias group and me the most.

i know of BerryGood but i never really follow closely. these are heartbreaking stories really.

i just get reminded of how good they are and why they actually deserved the name BerryGood.

i hope their comeback can be a major shift towards a better one for them ;~;

i love berry good so much (i became a fan during don't believe). they are so talented and sweet, it's such a shame that because of circumstances things ended up this way, because they've always had great songs and great stages.

 

i just wish more people would take a chance on them, it would really make a difference for the girls.

then later i watched Mixnine and decided to listen to their songs thanks to this unstable legend

 

Don't believe is indeed a great song and they deserved better for it

Berry Good have had it rough.  They are so talented and their discography is amazing, but for some reason never really got much attention.

They were always really unlucky with their timing.

 

Debuted in the comeback rush after Sewol tragedy.

Lost three members for personal reasons, new lineup was dropped like a bomb on fandom without previous info.

Came back with new batch when the SNSD vs 2NE1 thing started to be hyped.

Their exclusive producer died, came back with ballad and a lot of tears, got called attention whores for it...

Angel got released 5 days before Twice megahit Cheer up.

Dont believe was promoted at the same time as TT, Playing with fire, Blood, sweat and tears and 11:11.

Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo got delayed for some reason and debuted with mv from cosmetics photoshoot.

Heart Heart and Free travel... They were already burried by whole new gen of rookies.

Don't believe is indeed a great song and they deserved better for it

Sad is that Johyun was in the Mix9 audition mostly as extra. Everybody thought Taeha and Gowoon are going to make it for sure (Seoyul and Daye were ok too).

 

After the estimated time of audition Taeha had mysterious "car crash head injury on way home from training" and took some time off promotions. Some says it really stroke her. Since she is the best overall out of the group. Great singer, great dancer. So she was rumored to think about quiting.

 

This is also most likely why Johyun was lacking confidence so much. She knew nobody picked her for talents, just for her face and body, which is kinda degrading.

 

Thats also how Heart Heart became a thing. To cheer up rejected members. Yet some fans still demanded Johyun to be included.

 

This is another sad story of Berry Good.

tbh, I would have maybe pushed Don't Believe's comeback date to January 2017 because that's always the time of year lesser known artists make it big (Gfriend, Momoland, Oh My Girl, Chungha, etc).  For some reason, the big 3 doesn't come out with much in January and even if there is a lot of competition, people will be like "Oh, Berry Good started year well." And Don't Believe is such a good song, it could have been a huge hit if it didn't compete against T.T.

 

I think another reason is they aren't really consistent musically, which I'm okay with, but Korea doesn't seem to like (unless you're Red Velvet).  They stared out cute, then they get a new lineup and released a summer song, then they come back with a ballad, then a Gfriendy song, then tropical house EDM, then cute again, then sexy.

Imo they were very consistent up to Dont believe. All Love Letter, Because of you, My first love and Angel were written by the same guy and are in the same innocent concept. I think next comeback song was supposed to be Falling in love which mv was shooted in summer 2016 at Jeju, yet they made company to try with Dont believe.

 

 

 

Outside of subunit Dont believe is only title which dont fit their style 100%, yet it still has their significant sound.

 

Because of you was spring song and it did well, even charted. Not sure what do you think by GFRIENDish song since none of their songs is Gfriend style (unlike many others released after Gfriend boomed).

 

They had release planned for January but had to push it cause this year everybody is coming back in January lol.
