I'm taking five subjects this semester

1. War and Society - the impact of war, weapons of mass destruction, genocide, post-war society, etc.

2. Making of a Globalised Japan - addresses Japan's cultural, political and social changes from the beginning of its modernization period in the 1850s through its transformation into a modern state to its emergence as an economic power. Themes covered include territorial disputes, ethnic and gender identities, migration, labour relations and popular culture.

3. Intermediate Japanese - 2nd-year language subject

4. Media Reporting - study on the role of the in-depth interview in storytelling for print, online and audio-visual media.

5. Audio Journalism - focus on audio journalism production for radio and podcast materials.

I too am taking War and Society! Also taking 21st Century dictatorships, Writing and Representation, and Philosophy of Mind

4 subjects is a full load for us. Cant imagine going for 5. It's why I'm doing a summer course now.

I'm only taking five subjects because I'm a double major and want to finish my course earlier smile.png

(let's just hope I can pass Japanese)

Your subjects sound fun

omg do you by chance go to UOW (Australia) (it's just the subject titles sound the same as mine) I'm taking 20th C dictatorships next year laugh.png

i've taken some really interesting college courses during my university career but this semester is really tame and boring

1) biology of women - a required general that fulfills two classes i have to take in one course

2) an online english class where we practice writing blog posts and articles

3) philosophy of film - an evening class once a week that meets for like three hours while watching a movie

i usually take four or five classes but i took a study abroad class over winter break so that adds to my credits and allows a lighter spring semester

I've taken pretty much everything for my major so now I'm just taking whatever seems easiest to fulfill my credits

-Public speaking (a requirement imstupid.png )

-Hindu Mythology

-Ancient Mythology (Rome and Greece)

-Religions of the West

-Social psych

-Magic, medicine, and science (honestly, I have no idea what this class is but it's easy lolz)
