I believe so~ I think I did it by using a Mii character in either classic or Smash Run And yesss, I have no problems with the dog, but the knife is annoying OTL It always manages to take a stock off me, luckily the final thing where you fight yourself isn't hard lol I couldn't clear anything higher than 7.0 with anyone but Jigglypuff, I cleared her on 8.0 and I'll try 9.0 with Peach. Butt, if you're having trouble with Master Core, you can always customise your characters \O/ I didn't do that yet but 9.0 is hard, I might just OTL I hear if you have critical hit badges it makes it sooo much easier! Did 8 w/ Mii swordsman just after I posted, but it was like, only just. x.x ------------- My 3DS is getting kinda dirty by playing this game lmao..................... I think should clean/sanitise my 3DS and sanitise my hands before I play. Yeah, but I really wanted to clear it with peach, I did it in tho \O/ I gave her a crit hit badge and amped up her defence, Master Core managed to take a stock off me, but I still won \O/ There was talk of a tourney for SSB4 on here before the game was released, but nobody did anything OTL I'd love to do one but I'm pretty sure only like....5 people have the game Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ehh, it was okay, but it lacked a lot compared to previous games, no event more, no special mode, no break the targets OTL Instead we get Angry Birds Target Blast and Smash Run, which is fine and kinda fun, but still...event mode OTL What's silly is that Smash Run offered a lot of fun playable modes, Race to the FInish, 300% Smash, High Launch Smash, but for some reason, we couldn't play it separately Edited November 1, 2014 by Step Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I read different things about that on multiple websites. Maybe anyone here have tested it out? Step 192 Posted December 14, 2014 Share Posted December 14, 2014 So... I've been on the fence about getting this game for 3DS, as I didn't grow up with it and probably won't be good online. I'm leaning toward Fantasy Life instead, but Best Buy has a promo for buy one 3DS/Wii U title get one 40% off, so I could amazingly get smash on sale. How much fun is this game if you're going to be playing primarily single player? How unforgiving is online play, and can you practice enough to be able to play competitively? Game is lacking in single player content compared to the other SSB games but it's not bad! There's a classic mode and all-star mode, which is fun, but kinda boring after a while if you're trying it with every character, there's also Smash Run which is a unique mode that again, gets kinda boring after a while, and a bunch of challenges which start off a bit easy and quickly become either super hard or kinda grindy and tedious, I still haven't 100%'d it OTL, 2 challenges left... Online mode can get a bit tough for a newcomer, but if you learn the game a bit, it's pretty fun! Try beating a level 9 computer, if you can, you're probably ready for online mode, and I have played some people online before who were clearly new, so IDK. Free for alls can get very laggy tho lol, so watch out. There is no competitive community for Smash 3DS, I think everyone left when SSB Wii U came out. I still want a Link Between Worlds in addition to Fantasy Life, and of the three, I'm afraid Smash might be my one regret. Thanks for the info, though! I'll still keep it in mind. I think it's because I don't have much experience with the series, but I could barely figure it out OTL. I'll try it again since it's been a while. Ah, I see, no worries, the default 3DS controls are super jank tbh, well whatever game you buy, hope you have fun! I played ALBW worlds as well and you can't go wrong with that either, if you ever buy a Wii U tho, I'd DEF recommend SSB4 for that. Step 192 Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) Some of these challenges on the Wii U.... Holy mother. Also, 9.0 intensity is not to be taken lightly. I was trying to do the challenge to beat it without losing a life and only made it past 3 stages after an hour ;_; I beat both of those, but beat 9.0 without losing a single life is HELL. With Marth, I used some customisation, I maxed his attack, but if you have a sticker that gives you the home-run bat, USE IT, it can carry you all the to Master Hand/Crazy Hand, then you're on your own. My Marth had no home-run bat, but his attack was +151, defence was +12 and his speed was -6, the reason he hardly loses any stats is because I used a "Risky Respawner Sword" which gave him +76 attack and only -7 defence, but it had an ability that I lose my invincibity when I respawn, I also have him a Risky Respawner Cloak, which gave him +61 defence but only -6 speed but with the same negative ability, then I gave him my most powerful attack badge, which was +82 attack and -42 defence, if worked out well for me. All badges are different, so even if they have the same name they'll have different staat boosts, you check yours out and try what you think. Also, remember the tip of Marth's sword and more damage and knockback, so try hitting with that. The only ones I have left are the complete Classic Mode on 7.0 difficulty with all characters (cause it's tedious) and do all-star on Hard with all characters, I can't do all-star with Olimar, I just...can't OTL I also have the collect all the hats, collect all the special customs, collect 700 trophies, you know, the tedious things OTL Edited February 22, 2015 by Step Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
