MochaLatte 1,682 Posted January 13, 2019 Share Posted January 13, 2019 As you may know... a lot of great songs came out during these months, that's why I would like to focus on the underrated title songs that deserved more love~ </3 For me, it's: (even though it's doing quite well on Youtube -> 10M+ views in 5 days and trending in many places: Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Canada, etc.; topped the iTunes chart in 12 different countries at one point, even in the US.... BUTTTTT for some reason, koreans are neglecting this beautiful song and their k-chart rankings are really poor in comparison to all their previous comebacks -> overall #15-20 iChart ranking?!?!?!, which is even worse than their "Only One" era... i hope koreans would wake up and appreciate this song T T this song does not deserve to be that low on iCharts, it should be in top 5 T T) (seriously... are you kidding me??? how was this not topping the charts when it first came out?? some people back home really need to check their ears because this was such as banger in November-December~ I remember jamming to this everyday and even now, I listen to it quite often </3 this song easily got 20M on Youtube in a very short time and it continues to be catchy even after 2 months... Korea really does not deserve you EXID </3 T T) (this did not do so bad on the charts -> #10 overall for a while, but what's up with the Youtube views?? here is 6.7M and Mamamoo's official channel has 5.3M... so just 12M... they are supposed to be the top 5 GG in Korea but why the hell does this beautiful song not have more views... it's legit one of my favourite Mamamoo songs along with Delcalcomanie & You're the Best, but what makes this song less appealing?? and why such low k-chart rankings when it came out?? i really don't get the majority of koreans' taste in music... because this song should've been at least top 3 on iCharts) what were/are your top 3 favourite & underrated title songs from November 2018 - January 2019?? please include the official MV as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I never said underrated "groups", but songs -> so songs that I think deserved more love, whether it is at home in Korea (because their results on k-charts are super important for winning trophies as well as receiving further invitations to things like variety shows, idol concerts, year-end ceremonies, etc.), or on a global level (world-recognition)... so for my choices, I'm saying that Apink's "%%" & EXID's "I Love You" deserve/d more love in Korea, and Mamamoo's "Wind Flower" deserved more love from both Korea & globally... Most artists I listen to are lucky if they even get 2+ million views in a year (and not from thirsty men fapping to their fancams) read what I said about each song above properly before you make a comment about this... don't generalize k-charts & Youtube views as a whole collective bundle, Apink only got that many views mostly due to international fans (considering where it's trending & how poor Apink is doing on the k-charts) and same for EXID, their k-chart ranking wasn't even in top 10 or top 20 much less but their Youtube views are because the rest of the world is interested so that's why I said despite their success globally, koreans are neglecting their songs and they deserve more attention in Korea, whereas Mamamoo, even though they are top 5 GG, their results for "Wind Flower" didn't reflect that either on k-charts or on Youtube... of course the Youtube views seem like a lot, but like I said, Apink & EXID didn't have a problem with gaining love from others (as you can see in the high Youtube views) -> the problem is their own country is just ignoring them even when they came out with great title songs and that's why their rankings are/were so poor on k-charts, and Mamamoo is supposed to be top 5 GG but they were only at #10 overall on iChart for this song when they usually always get top 3 for the majority of their comeback title songs... and their Youtube views for this MV aren't as high as all their previous ones (comparing the others with the same 1 month period) -> that's why I said that these songs are underrated, whether it is on k-charts (Korea) or Youtube (globally); especially for a group of their "caliber" and popularity it's like saying IKON's "IT'S OK" is super underrated considering its poor k-charts ranking, as well as lower Youtube views even when they've just won 2 daesangs for song of the year !! that's a major thing to notice!! but I just didn't add "IT'S OK" because Apink, EXID, & Mamamoo's were my top 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
