1. [+3,413, -12] Make it all public. Reveal everything

2. [+3,316, -9] When are they gonna disband?

3. [+2,699, -326] One of the girls is the victim so the other two are the perpetrators?

4. [+2,932, -76] Is it them?!

5. [+2,581, -16] Riko Sugahara is good friends with Maho Yamaguchi right?

6. [+2,442, -153] Are these the girls who gave up her info to those guys?

7. [+2,240, -10] Yamaguchi wrote that a member told them when she’d be back home, where she lived and told them when to go to her home. Please officially announced who did it properly!

8. [+1,902, -25] This Sugahara girl? Kinda looks like a middle schooler

9. [+1,915, -14] Aren’t the 48 groups kinda old fashioned already? I think they should just disband

10. [+1,486, -422] Riko Sugahara is a truly hardworking member though. It’s impossible

11. [+1,457, -198] Which one told the criminals when Yamaguchi would return home though….

12. [+1,414, -13] Are they close friends with Yamaguchi?

13. [+1,251, -15] I feel bad if they’re actually sick and getting misunderstood like this

14. [+933, -200] Riko is a good kid

15. [+849, -86] Both the victim and the perpetrator are gonna be absent?

Riko is Maho's friend so y'all don't drag her. They're both on same team and Maho made it clear she wants to protect Team G members.
She's likely one of the member Maho called for support when the accident happened and know who is behind it. Riko said on SR for people to believe Maho.

Ayaka tho...

Riko is prob being punished because she is a major reason why fans suspect Nishigata Marina because Riko liked a twitter comment to Nishigata that was like "congrats on your final handshake ever".

The fan assuming Nishigata would be kicked out and Riko liking it.

Riko is friends with Maho, no slander allowed!

Ayaka on the other hand...everything goes against her when it comes to proof but still not confirmed.

Can they just expose it all already? tired of speculations and members being investigated.

Riko is actually absent due to an injury, not a punishment.

I feel like a lot of the reactions to this have been a bit subdued considering the incident? Like, these girls essentially hired people to kill her but their plan got fucked up. Whoever they are they were prepared to murder someone. And all the commenters here are saying is for them to disband. This is a much bigger issue the group itself. But they're right on the disbandment, imagine how the remaining members must feel having to stay/interact with the guilty members.

That's because these are like the first 15 comments out of a thread that has almost now over 9000 comments. The NGT stuff has been on the top page of Girls Channel basically since this whole situation started.

It was meant to be a homicide???? I thought it was just meant to be an assault to scare and traumatize her?

Exact intent is still unknown. She just said that she thought she was going to die, cuz she was attacked by 2 guys in her own home.

Intent actually isn't known
This is what fans detective came up with after digging. It is very possible it's not malicious but she was still assaulted

What about the claim that Tano and the other member sent the guys to threaten her, then? Do the Japanese fans no longer believe this to be the case? Also...what about the report that the two guys gained entry into the place by saying they were couriers? I'm so confused by all this... >.<

It's not sure whether they actually send the guys or they went themselves but it's clear the members gave them the info to catch Maho

pretending to be courier is probably fake since management came up with it. Fans knew these guys has access to NGT dorms before this

Who knows why they gave up private info on Maho, either way it resulted in Maho getting assaulted. The topic of what happened has hit the general public, it's been on various popular TV talk shows and news programs, it's been trending on Yahoo JP news and Oricon website including the members names that were potentially involve, advertisers have also been dropping NGT48, some are holding out until more info is announced. Doesn't look like it's not something that management can cover up anymore especially with all the glaring evidence of certain members having close connections with the assaulters.

I think it's for the best to have them miss this out.
