Have you ever experience or Know Tinnitus?

DepressionTT

Recommended Posts

Its been 8 months now since my tinnitus occurred, and it does not go away huhuhu.

This illness makes and triggered my depression more, I kept on questioning myself if I become normal again?

Is someone here can help me how to reduce this feeling ? Or alternative cure? Bcuz I can't stand steroid base medicines bcuz it gives me fluttering and cold feeling in my Heart/chest..

For someone who don't know tinnitus

Tinnitus is a perception of ringing or buzzing sound in your ears.

I've had ringing in my right ear for as long as i can remember, thankfully it's pretty subtle and i only really notice it when everything is quiet.

I guess I've just gotten used to it, hopefully it never gets any worse.

I'm really sorry to hear it's effecting you like that, i hope you can find some kind of help. lovestruck.png

Oh no no, it is very subtle, during the day i don't notice, it doesn't particularly effect my life. Only time it bothers me is on a night when i'm trying to sleep, i just have to  put a fan or something on for some background noise.

It sounds like your condition is much more severe than mine. warstarplz.png

Ive once experienced it since ive had it for months

A guy kicked my ear while i was underwater at a beach though he didnt apologise. i felt deaf for like 2 min and thats when i was shouting at the guy. It happens to me only when im in a crowded and loud space. I really do hope your condition with it becomes better !

yes in recent months i had a buzz in one of my ears that wuouldn't go away all of a sudden. It turned out to be that my ear had a tampon of wax, as the doctors i went to see told me. So i went to an actual ear doctor to get my ears cleaned and it went away pretty much instantly.

i had a strange case of tinnitus that started about...two years ago, yet stopped late last year. i assumed it was ménière's, however i havent had any symptoms since late last year when i visited the ENT and they didnt find anything wrong with me. i was told it could also be an undetected tumor dlaring up and pushing down on something, but i never got the mri.

I've got lucky. Last year around Easter I noticed a buzzing sound in my ears that just wouldn't go away. Luckily we acted fast and went to the doctor. There they prescribed me two high-dose shots of cortisone intravenous and it really helped after some time. So in the end after a few weeks the spook was over. I was really scared that it would last so those of you who are living under this condition have my utmost respect.

I have a mild case of tinnitus but during heavy stress and/or melancholy, the buzzing in my ears were so bad I couldn't sleep or made me disoriented in quiet places. The ringing is still there at all times but if I'm feeling fine overall, I don't notice it unless I think about it.

Yes, I've been dealing with Tinnitus since I was 12. The instances would happen weeks apart so I originally thought nothing of it.
Unfortunately it's been getting worse the past few months, to the point that it's now happening twice a day and I experience what I call "temporary deafness" in that the ringing completely blocks outside noise for its duration.

I was raised in a very chaotic home.. I believe the constant yelling led to me developing this condition.
I wish I could offer you advice but I too am at a loss.
