I don't think my GPA will reach 3 because I get D and C in one subject and my GPA must be 3 or I won't get a scholarship next semester.
Actually I don't care about scholarships but my family will be disappointed and I don't want to see that.

do I still have a chance?
what should i say to my family?

i feel i just want to disappear rn

its your first semester, at least you learned something. youll definitely improve! completely possible and Im sure your family will understand! its hard sometimes to move from high school to uni. Just keep on trying and you'll do well.

I don't think my family will understand, they will compare me with my brother because he always has GPA 3.5 ++ iirc and they will say "If your brother can do it, why you can't do it?" or something like thatunsure.png

Just hide your grades. It's college, they won't see it unless you show it.

i don't think i can hide it,because my sister always ask about it

Idk what to tell you tbh, I failed a class in my first semester of college but I was able and continued to hide it from my family because they never saw the report card. But nonetheless, it was my first time failing and yes I felt guilty, and was at the point where I questioned myself several times. But at the end of the day, it's just a grade in college. It does not, in any way or form, dictate your future. Not all successful people of today had A's back then, it HAPPENS to everyone. You just need to accept it as it is, so whatever  your family will say will not affect you negatively.

You still have 7 or 5 more semesters to increase your gpa. You can still have a pretty high gpa by the end of your college, but it'll be harder.

If your grades are given online, you can change them whether with a script or with photoshop and stuff

If your grades are given in paper, just tell them you'll get at least 3 As and 2 Bs next semester
