It's so depressing. It's kinda pathetic but these days I'm hanging out with friends a few years younger than me (early 20s) because I feel I can't relate to same-aged friends anymore. They mostly talk about their family life and their children now when I still feel like someone in the 18-23 age range (like more carefree/youthful). I miss my undergrad days so much tbh. Idk how old are you but where I live lots of people already have kids in their mid-late 20s so in that sense I'm the "odd one" lmao. So while for me personally getting married and have children at 24-28 (age of most of my friends) is still kinda early, it's not uncommon at all. On the contrary, people are always saying that it's better to have children in your 20s than in your 30s when your fertility start declining lmao. But I'm the same as you, I want to explore the world and focus on myself before "settling down". No offense but married life seems to routinary and boring idk. Yeah, there's quite a few people marrying late here too but in general the typical range to marry and start a family is 26-33ish. Later than that is not that common and lowkey looked down upon. For women in particular is terrible. If you're past 30 and still single everyone is like "you're doomed forever" "you're already past your prime" etc but idgaf.
