This is such a random/basic question, but what do uni students in USA do in their last semester?

I know that all of uni students work on their thesis in their last semester, but do they still have classes? Do they still get a group project? Every country has different system I guess.

Yeah usually they're in classes and working on their thesis unless they're doing work study (or clinicals if they're going into nursing/medicine). as for group projects, that varies from college to college i guess

I never had to do a thesis in my last semester, so not all uni students in the US work on their thesis during their last semester, assuming you're talking about undergraduate students and not graduate students. I just took the final remaining courses that were required for my degree. Where I went to university, at the undergraduate level, only Honors students get to enroll in a course where they work on a thesis or research project for their major, otherwise most students just took classes that were required for them to get a degree in their major.

some programs just require a seminar plus some electives...i'm an english major and i just have to compile a portfolio and take a seminar class that finishes with a long paper
