1. [+29,927] Someone fought for screen time. Someone cracked her voice. Someone trembled like mad. I laughed to death. The sisters of the mediaplay group.

-[+14,241] No, isn’t it basic duty for singers to sing live? You have to praise this like it’s a merit
-[+11,200] Fans these days are so daring with their speech [vomit] this group’s standard is so bad you have                          to expect less out of them than anyone else
-[+9,318] Shouldn’t they sing live? What do you mean at least this proves they sang live?

2. [+19,529] Sunnee is still okay

3. [+18,472] Objectively speaking, Li Ziting, Zi Ning, and Sunne are still okay

4. [+10,431] Wu Xuanyi sang so well

5. [+7,512] I actually thought Wu Xuanyi was okay

6. [+6,581] I think there wasn’t a thing wrong with Wu Xuanyi

7. [+6,775] Sunnee was stable <3

8. [+6,958] Among all the members, Ziting, Sunnee, Xuanyi, and Big Juan are okay. As for the rest...

9. [+4,224] Sunnee was seriously stable

10. [+3,661] Sunnee Yang Yunqing sang so well. So cool

11. [+2,557] The short hair girl Sunnee Yang Yunqing’s live was pretty stable!!

12. [+2,011] Sunnee was really stable

It wasn't just Rocket Girls though, at least more than half of the performances from Hunan TV lineup were criticized, and Hunan TV itself received backlash for allowing too many lipsynch. The best shows of the night seem to be from Dragon TV and Jiangsu TV. Also Zhejiang TV from the night before, which had lots of idols performing but they put up good live performances. Jiangsu and Zhejiang were especially praised for having many good live singers.

From the comments I expected worse. I actually think Chaoyue has improved. Xuanyi's fanbase showing their strength, she was pretty unstable in the beginning. Sunnee, Ziting, Da Juan were the best.
With the show setting them up to be the strongest girl group China's ever produced, it's not surprising people would be even harsher, esp since Chaoyue is such a central member of the group.

By the way, where is Meiqi? Why does it feel that she's gotten the most shafted since all the contract disputes?

If I ever stanned them I'd turn out a Sunnee and Ziting akgae. I also think ChaoYue is turning out the real winner out of this.

She was already the hot issue member to begin with. After Yuehua picked the contract fight, it basically just solidified Chaoyue's position. From what I know it sounds like she's certainly gotten the most opportunities/deals of all the members. I struggle understanding why Meiqi seemingly is facing more backlash from the company in the aftermath compared to Xuanyi. Or maybe my perception is wrong since I only peripherally keep up with their news.

You are right.

80% of Tencent's Rocket Girl resources is going to Chaoyue.

Lai Meiyun is actually even LESS schedules than when she was with SING.

From 3 she became unofficial 1 after the contract trouble. And I think she is the most actor-visual type so her demand is more.

I think as Meiqi was first, with most support, fans considered her the face of RG - and her possible withdrawal focussed all the sense of betrayal on her.

Apparently Yuehua plan was push Meiqi into acting/singing and Xuanyi into variety. Meiqi is filming one movie and I don't remember if a second one was confirmed but by the time of the release probably RG will have disbanded. For some reason YH keeps pushing back her solo. So yeah at the moment it looks like Xuanyi is getting more work.
