I'm shocked nobody from America hit a Million this year. Pure sales are DEAD, with the exception of a few! The only artists that I can think of that can get 1M+ pure sales in the US are Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Adele. Taylor is able to do so because of the tour bundles + merch bundles that she does for every tour. Beyoncé's last album 'Lemonade' sold 1.9M pure. Adele, on the other hand, is a BEAST. I was shocked Sweetener didn't do better. T-Swift does crazy stuff to get those physical sales tho. Like, the more Reputation albums you bought the better your place in line to buy tickets to her concert.
