So many people make them and they're so redundant. It's like... hello, search function... So that is the point of this thread. If you want something, come to this thread, don't make your own thread. They will no longer be replied to. Also, when you ask for something, you have to be a tad more specific than "I want Japanese music." That's like saying "I want American music." What does that mean? There is such a large variance that it kinda leaves it too open and people end up suggesting whatever. Like if you want something like Big Bang or 2NE1, why would I show you a YUKI video? They don't match up. You just end up with a bunch of people posting whatever they like when the person asking isn't even looking for that and end up ignoring/disregarding it. Wasted effort. Why do this? Also, don't post anything done by a KPop act in Japan. If you want that, this isn't the place for it. Feel free to now ask for suggestions. Someone will listen to what you're looking for reply with suggestions. And again, don't just say Japanese music. Say something specific. I don't know why people would complain, more school food punishment is a good thing. Because people didn't the reason for disbandment only to turn around and do the same thing with new people. Maybe you can recommend me more songs from Sakanaction (and artist with similar music sounds to Miliyah and Sakanaction)? I need to upgrade my J-songs collection. I was blessed having been paired with her in the Music Trade Off. Makes me wanna revisit my liking of Jpop and Japanese songs in general. Kpop indeed distracted me from that. By the way, Miliyah kinda reminds me of Björk, so I think I'll start browsing more of her songs. And those you recommended. It's weird. A lot of people, when they try to make a parallel between a Japanese female soloist and a Western one, Bjork comes to mind a lot. Miliyah has gone on a journey. She's probably had one of the most drastic musical and image changes I've seen before. But then again people change between 16 and 26. She was a lot more urban before. Deep tan, weaves, everything... If this is to clarify anything: I was saying so because of having only listened to those two songs, not the entire discography. I didn't know she was into urban back then. Ohh, I wasn't complaining. It's just that... I think it's because there's so much going on in the music of these women that at times it's hard to find a Western equivalent so Bjork is a good name to say.
