rejeshrimp 1,064 Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 nope. there's so much attached to addiction, it's definitely not as simple as just 'greediness', a lot of the time addictions are also symptoms of underlying issues too. the reason addiction is oversimplified as greediness is due to the lack of education surrounding addictions, people need to be taught that a lot of the time they are mental disorders and can encompass a variety of different things. they're not about greed. In most cases those who have an actual physical and/or emotional addiction don't like the way they act and would want to change.
