Twicelestial 2,289 Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 During Twice debut in Japan, Twice got so many backlash from Jnetz especially after got invited to Music Station and Kouhaku, they are calling Twice 'Gori Oshi' which means being pushed or have some BIG backing up from Yakuza (? idk i got this from one of the comments from nichan) and Jnetz tried so hard to push this narrative to make Twice popularity as fabricated, it even reached almost 40k upvotes when they got invited to kouhaku and now we got Izone to debut in Japan Feb 2019, They got invited to FNS music festival and CDTV new year event even before debut, i never seen a single gori oshi comment in nichan, only common comments like "korean go back" etc. whats your take on this? why the different treatment? was mostly the gori oshi comments came from 48 wotas? or aki p influence is too great they accept izone with minimal backlash i just realised this when my friend tell me izone doesnt have many haters in Japan unlike Twice, that got me thinking whats the difference both have korean and japanese no hate, healthy discussion please Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well Izone is not Twice and they debuted during two different times. Reactions towards Groups are never the same. Comparing it also doesn't seem logical to me since you can't compare things like this unless Izone is exactly like Twice and debuted at the exact same time with the exact same conditions and with the exact same background story. Don't worry, they probably won't outsell your faves immediately. Both groups have backings, JYP for Twice and MNet + the TV show for IZONE. Since 2011 with SNSD, TVXQ has appeared on KOHAKU, until 2017 we have a KPOP group that reappears here, that is TWICE.
