Why is Korean camerawork still so horrendous?

It's not that bad if you don't count the awards shows.

but that still begs the question - why is the award shows specifically so bad when we know there's capable camera people usually?

I guess they just want to show how much their show is popular by showing the audience and how beautiful their set is by having those wide shots. If it's not that then I really don't have a clue... I mean, they should know how people feel about their camerawork by now but nothing's changed.

I mean, they ARE bad, but when I see US camera work I suddenly thing "this is not so bad" lol

 

US camerawork isn't aimed at capturing dance routines though, which is something that Korean camerawork should be fine tuned to.
