Honestly people should just accept that idols tend to be problematic until proven otherwise and don’t excuse their shit behavior then you’ll be fine.....

if you’re defending or dismissing the colorist comments they made then yeah you and your fave are in the same boat

It depends, a lot of idols say something due to ignorance bc its all they saw or heard growing up, people make mistakes and should be allowed room to grow and change but if they make remarks repeatedly after being corrected then its up to the fan if they wish to still support them. And if they do still support them, then they are basically stating that they care more about the idol than the hurt they cause by keeping such an ignorant and toxic ideology and the people who are affected due to it and imo that makes them colorist. Wither they want to admitt it or not.

Depends, if you acknowledge that aspect of them is a flaw and don't try to defend it then no. If you make excuses for it then yeah you're part of the problem, as Namie said.

Well that's a tricky question, I mean if you defend him against valid constructive crictisms from offended people or just encourage his behavior you're not doing any good, except that you're fine.

No. Agreeing with them would make you colorist.

I’m a fan of people who have done things that were wrong but I don’t agree or condone any of it, and I can be. I acknowledge the mistakes and don’t defend them against it, and also know that everyone can change and apologize. The issue is that some fans agree with the idols or defend them, but if you don’t, there isn’t an issue. You can stan people who have done wrong as long as you acknowledge their mistakes and don’t immediately defend and act like what they did was okay.. but that doesn’t mean you are taking on their actions as well.

Not in particular to this question but the answer to any are u problematic if you stan problematic: no. We are not responsible for how everyone in the world behaves. Maybe I like the song maybe I like the movie maybe I like the story or the performance..... humans are flawed nothing can be done about it.
