RIPHaldir 929 Posted January 3, 2019 Share Posted January 3, 2019 It depends, a lot of idols say something due to ignorance bc its all they saw or heard growing up, people make mistakes and should be allowed room to grow and change but if they make remarks repeatedly after being corrected then its up to the fan if they wish to still support them. And if they do still support them, then they are basically stating that they care more about the idol than the hurt they cause by keeping such an ignorant and toxic ideology and the people who are affected due to it and imo that makes them colorist. I’m a fan of people who have done things that were wrong but I don’t agree or condone any of it, and I can be. I acknowledge the mistakes and don’t defend them against it, and also know that everyone can change and apologize. The issue is that some fans agree with the idols or defend them, but if you don’t, there isn’t an issue. You can stan people who have done wrong as long as you acknowledge their mistakes and don’t immediately defend and act like what they did was okay.. but that doesn’t mean you are taking on their actions as well.
